When sprayed to cover the green of a plant, the plant turns brown in minutes (usually within the hour).. rarely longer. left alone, the brown will dry and crumble away, leaving a clean patio surface. Only caveat is that this stuff is not discerning of what it kills -- it kills everything equally. Love the fact that it works so quickly -- and even though we have to respray occasionally, it's nice knowing that it doesn't destroy local soil conditions and works indiscriminately where I aim it.

For those who don't like the bottle buy 1L. or larger and get your own bottle, stop complaining! I use this 2-3 times a season, best weed killer around.

Wilson WipeOut Ultra worked incredibly well on all the weeds that have started to sprout up between my backyard patio stones. A few squirts killed the weeds & stopped them from growing. I used to spend an hour pulling each one up by the roots, but Wilson WipeOut Ultra is a timesaver and gets the job done in no time at all. No more sore back and knees! I can now enjoy my time lounging on my patio instead of clearing it of weeds. I also used Wilson WipeOut Ultra on the wild weeds growing alongside my driveway and it worked there too. The front of my home now looks presentable and well-kept.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective This kills only the foliage, drying up all the leaves. The roots will usually be able to send up new leaves with time, so several applications are likely needed. But this is useful in and around other plants as it does not have any effect on soil. Works especially well on creeping weeds that are impossible to pull up due to many runners. And since spraying is quick it's not too much of a chore to reapply every week until the offending plant is dead.

This area has many weeds growing up from the joints of the cement and is very difficult to control. I used the Wilson Total Wipeout Ultra and it worked within 1 day of applying. It has been a few days and the weeds are completely irradiated and no signs of returning. The product is not selective to what it kills so you have to be careful not to over spray onto desirable plants or grass. The spray nozzle allows for a good setting for getting only weeds wet. Good sized bottle for refilling.

Le lendemain, je remets un autre petit jet et "magie" il y en a plus. Je recommande fortement ce produit pour des plantes indésirables qui poussent dans des endroits difficile à enlever. Par exemple entre la cour en asphalte et le long de la maison, ou sur un pavé uni. Merci de m'avoir fait découvrir ce produit. Je suis désormais une cliente satisfaite qui utilisera toujours wipeout. Yes, but you can't use it in your lawn, since it will kill everything it hits. It's for patios, walkways, driveways, river stone, etc.

Will this work on creeping bellflower?

Hello JanJ WIPE OUT attacks the plant cell membranes, resulting in a very quick burn down of the plant and works on most annual, biennial and perennial weeds. However , repeat applications may be required every two to three weeks to control new weeds growing from seed and re-growth from biennial and perennial weeds. Thank you

Can I use this on a small holly stump? Every time I cut it, it just grows back, would love to get rid of it once and for all

Hello Jenn, No we would not recommend using it on a stump. It will not kill the actual stump. You need to remove the stump in order to keep it from re growing. thank you

My cat likes to eat grass. You said this product is safe once it has dried. I want to know if it will kill my cat (or dogs) if they ate grass that has been sprayed and dried.

Hello Bunny and Bear, It will not harm your pet because the half life of the product is less then 1 day. Which is why, after you apply the product, within hours you start to see results.

What is meant by grass killer, does it kill grass too? If yes why one should use it?

Hello Draza, great question. Yes, this product is a non-selective weed killer, so it kills both weeds and grass. Wilson WipeOut Ultra is great for use on patio stones, in between cracks in the driveaway, sidewalks and more. For a product that kills the weeds in your lawn, we recommend Wilson WeedOut Ultra, which only kills the weeds and not the grass.

hello MKennedy, Weed OUT, when used as directed, is safe for people and pets. We recommend keeping pets away from the area while spraying and wait until it dries before letting them back on. When spray has dried, people and pets can re enter the area.
