What paint extension roller would work best for this?

Asked by: liz
I have been using a fixed pole with a steel threaded end. Any pole should work well, I would recommend the steel threaded end for longevity.

How to get a replacement

Handle broke after less than three months of use

The roller frame pictured is not a Wooster Sherlock roller frame. Home Depot does have an excellent return policy. A detailed outline of Home Depot's return policy can be found under the Customer Service Returns section on the website.

Please describe the proper fit between a paint roller frame and it's cover. Lately I'm seeing BEST rated perform with: A cover's outer edge exceeding the visible closing diameter of the frame cage cap, and/or the frame cage length exceeded by 1/16th inch. Is it the roller cage or the cover. I've seen the in-process results from both... laid down paint that intermittently includes a tear-drop reservoir-deposited floater that begs a rollover. Yet, through the years I've also seen them as a perfectly closed fit without such results. Is one-size-fits-all an accepted manufacturing free-trade tolerance nowadays. Thank you.

How do I clean the frame

The bearings in the frame make the roller rotate with very little friction (the first time you use it). Now the roller frame binds when trying to rotate it due to dried paint. Any recommendations for cleaning?
Asked by: Nick
I usually keep a Scotch-brite sponge on hand which loosens the paint quite well ion you clean up immediately after use.
