This heavy duty pneumatic (air pressure) door closer from Ideal Security is appropriate for use on heavier aluminum, steel or wood storm and screen doors from 1 1/4-inch to 2-inches thick. the door closer's cylinder measures 1 1/2-inches in diameter and it has an overall length of 13-inches. This series is for out-swinging storm doors. The door closing speed is adjustable with the air adjustment screw at the end of the closer tube. The closer tube is made of aluminum which will not rust. The closer can be installed at the top, middle or bottom of your door, depending on the construction of your door. The Touch-N-Hold function allows you to keep the door open by pressing only a button, the mechanism disengages once the door is pushed.

The included key lock allows you to keep your main door open while keeping your storm/screen door securely shut. The interior latch doesn't lock. This set fits doors from 1-inch to 2 1/8-inches thick. If replacing an existing handle, the screw posts must be 1 3/4-inches apart. For new installations, three holes must be drilled through the door for the screws and spindle. The key lock is usually installed above the handle. The spindle for the deadlock can be cut for custom installs.
