Wyze Cam v3 is the 3rd generation of Wyze's flagship camera, Wyze Cam. After spending over an hour for this camera to simply read a QR code to set itself up, it would not read the code. Watched videos of how the light may effect the reading of the code, tilting phone etc. It wouldn’t read. The online help is a joke, can’t talk to anyone, just by email only. Needless to say, it’s going back on my way home!

They work for a short time at the beginning but then send an error code 90 that they aren't connected even though it shows a good signal. What good is it if you constantly have to manually reconnect

How much electrical power it takes?

Wyze Cam uses 5V 1A DC power through a micro USB port. The included adapter is rated for 100-240V input, so you can use it with any power source within this range. The power consumption is between 2-4 watts, depending on whether Night Vision is turned on.

Hello there! Wyze Cam v3 is a wired camera that connects directly to your WiFi network, just like the v2 and Pan. You do not need a base station to use it. Wyze Base Station only supports Wyze Cam Outdoor, which relies to the base station for connectivity. The base station is not compatible with the v3 at all. Hello there! Yes, free cloud storage is included with your purchase. Wyze Camera will capture one 12-second alert video every five minutes when motion or sound is detected which is stored in cloud for 14 days. Using a microSD card with the ‘record on event’ or 'continuous recording' feature turned on will allow the camera to record the rest of the footage that the cloud video does not capture. We also have Cam Plus, which is an add-on service and upgrades the free 12-second motion recording already included with Wyze Cam. This upgrade will record motion and store the events to the cloud for as long as motion is detected and adds Person Detection. That means no 12-second limit and no cooldown period. The recordings are stored in the cloud for 14 days.
