Does it come with battery and charger? If not then how much is it?

Thank you for pointing out that there is a misprint on the site under Power Type. This mower features a fuel efficient Overhead Valve gasoline engine with a 1.2 litre gas tank. Use ethanol-free high octane gasoline and add a quality fuel stabilizer to your gas container for reliable starting and best performance of all your outdoor power equipment.

Hello - I notice in a review someone says the manufacturer has told them you do have to manually scoop the grass clippings from the small plastic rectangle located on the inside of the flap at the back of the mower into the bag, is this truly the design?

    Asked by: SteveB73
Thank you for your question. The grass bag is designed to catch clippings and lifts easily through the mower handles for convenient emptying. There is a small recess in the integral mulch plug that may collect some stray clippings during operation. These will simply fall under the mower if used without the rear bag.

Can you  disengage the self driving wheels if you want to cut a strip of grass and walk backwards over the same strip and keep the blade running ? Thanks in advance I like to double cut each row

    Asked by: ATItelcom
Thank you for your question. Yes the front wheel drive function of this mower is engaged and disengaged by squeezing and releasing the lower drive bail on the handle. The engine and blade will continue to run as long as the upper start/safety bail remains engaged. Consider this caution from the operator's manual that is good advice for all lawn mowers: Never pull the mower back toward you while you are walking. If you must back the mower away from a wall or obstruction first look down and behind to avoid tripping and then follow these steps: a. Step back from mower to fully extend your arms. b. Be sure you are well balanced with sure footing. c. Pull the mower back slowly, no more than half way toward you. d. Repeat these steps as needed.

IS THIS REAR-WHEEL DRIVE; WILL YOU HOLD FOR PICK-UP ON WEEKEND, IF IT IS?

    Asked by: Walter
Thanks for your question. This value packed mower is a front wheel drive model that rolls smoothly over the lawn with high rear wheel design and simple conversion from mulching, to bagging, to side discharge with no tools required.

Purchased brand new Yard Machine It runs but constantly pulsates, or revs up and down. I still managed to mow the lawn with it but I am quite certain this isn't normal. Standing still or pushing it through the grass it does the same thing.

    Asked by: SteveM1010
I was working with a similar issue with a little older Yardworks and the only problem was the plastic rod from the governor somehow ended up on the wrong side of the plastic governor pin on the carburetor.... if that makes any sense! As soon as I changed it, the pulsing quit and the mower ran smoothly

How does this mower handle hills? Self propulsion still work on a 40 degree hill? Front or rear wheel drive?

    Asked by: Zeken
The maximum angle our mowers can safely operate on is 15 degrees.
