While it was easy enough to put together, as soon as I tried to put it in place, the shelves slid down the pole even though I thought they they were properly seated on the rubber ring. I will try it out as I don't see anything better on the market but I hope the shelves don't keep slipping.

How many poles come with this item? I opened the box and there were three (not high enough for sure). There were also no assembly instructions....Should there be?
