Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not pure cleaning vinegar FYI - This is NOT pure cleaning vinegar. It has some sort of detergent in it that makes whatever you're cleaning extremely sudsy. I use cleaning vinegar to clean my bird baths and because it's safe for birds. Detergent is not safe for birds. It took a long time to rinse all the suds out before I could refill the bird bath. I bought it because it was all I could find at the store but should have been suspicious when the label didn't indicate the % vinegar and also suggested it was pleasant smelling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product to kill weeds Since 2 months ago, I used this vinegar in my yard to kill weeks and as of this moment, there were only about 10 weeds I saw which were very few and far in between throughout the yard. Before I sprayed the vinegar, I first pulled out all the weeds and then sprayed the vinegar throughout the whole yard. Those few weeds that grew after my initial spray, I pulled them out; then sprayed only where the roots were; and there is no weed as of now 1 week later.

Why can't you tell us the vinegar concentration? As in percentage?

I just got off the phone with Zep tech/product support 877.428.9937. Tech support guy stated that this product has less than 1% vinegar.

Yes, but you should use the homemade mixture of vinegar, blue dish soap and soap. 1 gallon vinegar, 1 cup of salt, mix, and then add one tablespoon of blue dish soap and mix again. You need a garden sprayer/sprayer for this obviously.

Zep Concentrated Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser & Cleaner is suited for use on most surfaces, including appliances, grills, stovetops, concrete, tools, engines, bikes, fiberglass, aluminum, and stainless steel surfaces. Before using the product on surfaces not recommended, test in an inconspicuous area. Never allow the product to dry on the surface before rinsing.

Hardwood is through part of our house. The wood is pre-finished and not an oil-base finish. Is this one safe to use on this type of flooring?
