Hi, There are some drawings with chalk by my kid on my NEW interlock backyard. I have tried, but I cannot remove the chalk marks with dishwasher soap and water. Can I use your Calcium, Lime & Rust Stain Remover to remove the chalk marks?

Hi, Thank you for your question. The vendor have replied that without knowing the type of substrate/material that makes up your interlock backyard, the vendor can't unconditionally recommend use of the Zep Concentrated Lime & Rust Stain Remover. The Zep Concentrated Lime & Rust Stain Remover is an acid based product that can dissolve or damage most masonry and stone. For this type of substrate the vendor would recommend use of either Zep Concentrated All-In-One Premium Pressure Wash CAPPWC160 1000681604 or the Zep Concentrated House & Siding Pressure Wash CAVWS128 1000149539. You do not have to use either product with a pressure washer. Simply dilute the products 1:10 (1 part product to 10 parts water), apply to the surface, scrub with a soft brush, rinse well (do not allow the solution to dry on the surface, so work small areas at a time). Note: if rinsed to vegetation areas wet down well with water before and after to avoid any damage to foliage. If the interlock is more of a composite material (plastic) then you can safely use the products listed above OR the Zep Concentrated Lime & Rust Stain Remover (dilute the acid 1:5 and then follow the same instructions listed above).
