We unfortunately had a very negative experience with the product and the customer support around the product. The product had a defect that the door would not recognize that it was closed when it was closed. We called customer support they got back to us and were aware of the issue but didn't offer any support outside of we are aware of the door manufacturer issue. We are going to return this product and probably go with a different company since they can't seem to have any idea how to resolve or know if any of their other models are defected. It is too bad because it is an otherwise really nice looking microwave but the fact that the company knew there was an issue and doesn't have any sort of recall setup or customer support setup is a really bad sign.

Make sure you are aware that this microwave is not a standard size opening. Although it is a standard width 24 inch (with a rough opening on 22 1/8 and overlapping sides to give some wiggle room), the rough opening height is 14 13/16, which is smaller than most. There is no overhang lip on the bottom and only a minimal 1/4 inch at most on the top so your maximum opening to not have gaps is about 15 inches. I had to use a 3/4 inch piece of cabinetry to fill the void. You can see it in the picture. It should be hidden by the counter overhang. Probably not an issue if you are designing your cabinets to accommodate this beforehand. Get the installation manual from Zline or find it only. Will update the function after using it but it is very nice looking and was extremely well packaged and a good value relative to other drawer microwaves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from almost great A bit difficult to install. The door thickness plus handle is wide, and if aligned to the cabinet, it would have stuck out a bit from the countertop. Adding some cabinet trim on the inside of the cabinet frame, I was able to slide the microwave in a bit, and close out the opening. The door is slightly lower than the bottom of the microwave, so I had to shim the microwave to get the door to close. It works great and looks nice. Easy to use. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. If I had to do it over, I'd probably buy a drawer microwave with a trim kit.

It looks great in my kitchen and everything works the way that it is supposed to. There is only one very minor thing I will share which is for informational purpose rather than complaint. To avoid any drips or small spills if you are heating or reheating a liquid leave a bit of space at the top of the cup or container. Because it’s a drawer closure, when the door closes it causes the contents to jiggle a little. It makes sense but wasn’t something I thought about the first time I used it. I’ve had mine installed since May and I love it! I like it so much more than my previous counter top microwave!

That is until I decided to give a built in drawer a chance. Now, I would never go back! This is so convenient and easy to use. The drawer opens and shuts beautifully and all the food has been cooked perfectly. Also, love all the special features like the drink button.

what is the depth including the door handle

Mine really doesn’t have a door handle. U push a button and the door opens.  Mine is flush to the front of the cabinet.  And it’s in a standard cabinet space.

After many years with a top of the line whirlpool, we had a learning curve, but we find this mw to be very powerful, quiet, convenient, I’d say about 78% of perfect. If you use manufactured pack sizes, the popcorn function is fine. This mw does not have the ability to “sense”, so you will need to adjust accordingly.
