Rated 5 de 5 de par Good purchase Easy to use, very effective in collecting 99% of the dust as I sanded, worth every penny.

Rated 5 de 5 de par A classic Richards sanding block, with a vacuum! I don’t review things unless they are terrible or really good. This product is really good. First of all, some of the other reviewers mentioned that it’s a waste of time because the screens leave scratches. A) Sanding screens are pretty standard and I’ve never had an issue with scratches. B) If you’re using 150 grit for a rough sand, why do you care if there’s scratches? You should be doing a skim coat over top anyways. Finish sand after that with 220 and it’s a non-issue. I’m not a pro but I’ve been reno-ing houses for about 5 years, and always do my own drywall work. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try this vacuum sander out, because I can’t see myself going back to sanding without a vacuum head. I would say it actually picks up 90% of the dust. I sanded a whole bathroom and had barely any dust on me. I’ve seen this in stores before but thought it was a gimmick. I had a chance to borrow one from a friend and immediately decided it was worth the $30 investment.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Simple to use Finishing bathroom walls with no mess from sanding. Use the net abrasive 240 for a smooth clean finish. Blending into adjacent surfaces is very good. If you use the sanding “screen” you will leave scratches on the surface of the wall. The 240 abrasive “net” is for the finishing blend. Little to no residual dust left on the walls or floor.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Screen Sandpaper Leaves Plenty of Scratches I've never used screen style sandpaper before and will never again. I tried using the rough 150 grit screen included for a first pass on drywall compound and it left nothing but scratches. Had to switch back to a regular sandpaper block for the rough sanding. I picked up some 220 grit screen sand for a third pass but even then saw some scratches appear. Ultimately, I wouldn't use this with anything but fine 220 grit screen sandpaper and even then you have to be very careful in your technique, otherwise you'll get all sorts of scratches. Product is a great idea for getting rid of dust but ultimately I could probably clean up the dust faster on the floor with my Ridgid vac alone.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Well worth it I'm renovating the basement and I had to do lots of spackling, ceiling and walls. I bought this tool not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It vaccums I'd say 95% of the dust! So obviously it is heavier than a regular sanding extension and a bit awckward to handle because of the hose hanging from the sanding block, but to avoid having the white dust all over the house? Money well spent in my opinion...
