Rated 1 de 5 de par worst facet purchase ever I've gone through two of these in my bathroom - purchased the 2nd time only because I wouldn't have to change the drain with the same facet but after the second completely corroded and leaks (more like a constant stream) I will not purchase this brand or style again . The ceramic disks are covered with hard water salt and completely useless. I will go back to the non ceramic disk and a cheaper looking one that I know will last longer . Too bad because I loved the design and the nice chrome finish. I remodeled the bathroom and was I pleased with it initially but not after the 2nd one leaked. I had a cheapie before the remodel that lasted years with no issue. : (

Rated 1 de 5 de par Plastic parts, arrived broken I chose this faucet primarily for its low price point and what I believed to be the good reputation of American Standard. Unfortunately, the sealed box contained a unit with a broken handle. Seeing its plastic construction, I did not believe this faucet would last long anyway. I promptly returned it (and bought a Price-Pfister and a Delta, both of which had pop-up drain issues).

Rated 4 de 5 de par Sleek design Great for guest bathroom This was purchased as a replacement for our powder room/guest bathroom. I love the sleek design of it and at first I was not sure about it being smaller but it really does work well in a smaller bathroom. No complaints so far, great product.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best purchase ever The faucet was easy to install with good directions matched perfectly with the other satin nickle items I had purchased and was a great price after doing a internet search. I would definitely recommend this faucet.

I have a Model 2275 Colony Soft bathroom faucet and the cartridge valves begin to bind after only a few months use. American Standard shipped a replacement pair of cartridges (A954120-0070A) only a few months ago and they are again exhibiting the same binding and creaking sounds and becoming increasingly difficult to turn the handles. I have determined that as the two internal water control disks wear, they begin to bind when rotated, and the problem only gets worse with continued use. Is there any type of lubricant that you recommend, or is it necessary to replace the cartridges periodically? While the cartridges do not leak water, they are increasingly loud and annoying when rotated. The faucet was installed less than 2 years ago.
Posée par: Anonyme
A non-petroleum based lubricant may be used lubricate the cartridges and seals. It should not be necessary to periodically replace the valve cartridges.
