Rated 5 de 5 de par Looks Great; Performs (knock on wood) As Advertised Installation from start to finish took about an hour. It was a relatively quick and smooth hour, however, and some of that time was due to the faucet that we had to remove before we could install the new Hampton set. I note that, at first, both the hot and cold handles felt like they were grinding a bit of metal on metal where they connected with their respective bases on top of the basin. I applied a bit of petroleum jelly when I installed thinking that might decrease lubricate the connection. Not sure that that helped as much as just using the handles did; after a week or so, the metal on metal rubbing sensation disappeared. Quite satisfied with the product so far.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Installed 3 years ago & it's flawless Installed this porcelin cross handle Hampton model a little more than 3 years ago and other than the usual weekly damp wiping fit and finish are problem free. The washerless ceramic cartridge design is a joy as I was previously replacing the neoprene washers yearly due to this being a high useage family bathroom. Parts availability was another reason American Standard was the right choice. Replacment parts readily available but be aware porcelin handles are NOT covered by American Standard lifetime warranty and are quite expensive

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent Quality American Standard Faucet Beyond beautiful is the best way to describe this high quality chrome faucet from American Standard. The Hampton's low arc style was an excellent decision because I love how the faucet immediately brightened up the whole bathroom, yet doesn't accentuate the fact that its a really tiny space. The luxurious porcelain lever handles add just the right amount of charm, plus they are very easy to turn on and off. I appreciate the ease of the levers because I'm recovering from a broken wrist, have a lot less strength, even less dexterity The lever style handles, unlike round ones, require no gripping strength whatsoever. I just love everything about the faucet.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good item for a medium budget More plastic parts which leads me to wonder the durability of this unit. This unit looks good but the chrome finish is a bit too shiny, no clear coat to fluff off which I consider a plus. Also no base plate makes cleaning easier with less nooks to clean. The speedy drain feature for the pop up stopper is a great feature and works well. I understand porcelain handles are NOT covered by American Standard lifetime warranty and are quite expensive to replace. Watch the finish color matches your vanity top, mine was close and I thought my wife would have a problem with it, but to my delight she didn't.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Beautiful Chrome Finish Faucet American Standard continues to improve on it's products looks and installation and this Hampton Faucet is no exception. Although I didn't buy the most expensive faucet, once installed into my new Dakota Vanity from Homedepot, one would never know it. The stunning chrome matches my other chrome and stainless steel items in my bathroom. It is easy to clean and it shines so pretty. Installation has improved since installing my old faucet around 12 years ago. Just like the toilet I recently bought from Home Depot, that was made by American Standard, installation went smoother than expected. The porcelain handles provide a look that compliments my vanities counter top as well. I really like the look and feel of the larger faucet handles too. I plan on buying another one of these faucets to install in my half bathroom.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Bathroom remodel I ordered this for one bathroom and subsequently ordered 2 more for the master bathroom. Quality casting, finish, and excellent design of the speed connect pop up drain. The handle base with plastic insert is not as solid as I would like, but overall quality design and value for the price is excellent.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good looking faucet with a classy feel Good looking faucet with a classy feel. I installed this into a brand new vanity so I had the convenience of putting everything together with the sink detached from the vanity base. While this made it easier, I still see installation being quite painless. The water lines do feel a bit cramped, but not a big deal. Overall very pleased with this item!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Big problems We bought two of these in blackened bronze for jack-n-jill baths. Within a few weeks one of them started having a constant stream of water that would not shut off. We contacted the company and were sent I belive a replacement cartridge. Now, a couple of months later, the other one is doing the same thing! On top of that, I hate the finish. The blackend bronze spots very easily, and is difficult to clean. You cannot just wipe down with water as the instructions say. I am very disappointed with the quality and finish.

Hampton bathroom faucet was leaking a steady stream of water. Removed cartridge and inspected it. It looked ok. I reinstalled the cartridge and turned the water back on below and now get a full stream of water whether handle is off or on. Ideas?

How do you remove aerator? I unscrewed the ring. The screen/aerator is threaded. Is it threaded in, reverse thread? Its plastic and you can push in alittle. Is it push and turn? Its clogged and i need to clean.
Posée par: Ellebycul
Once you unthread the aerator from the faucet spout it is simple pressed into place. It can be removed from pressing the screen from the bottom. You will want to remove the black rubber sealing gasket, it will make it easier to remove. Sincerely American Standard Technical Team.

I am trying to replace the hampton cartridge but I can't remove the handle base or unscrew the attachment nut from underneath. I;ve already used W40 but nothing happens. What cam I do?. Thx

Posée par: Nik 1
Dear Nik1, Try to pour some white vinegar around the base and let it sit for a while. Sometimes when the faucet is corroded it will eat away that corrosion and allow you to remove it. Sincerely, AS Customer Care Tech Team

Our hot water is faucet is leaking. How do we get it off to replace the cartilage? It was installed by a plumber.

You will need to remove the index cap and screw first. Then remove the handle base (it will unthread) and adapter. At that point you will be at the cartridge.

I have a 7881.732.295 faucet that drips. I would like to replace the cartridge. I cannot remove the handle. When I remove the top cap, there is no screw - only 3 star shaped grooves and a hole. Handle parts look different than online diagrams.

I have the Hampton 8in. 2-handle low-arc bathroom faucet. About 15 years old. The handles become too close to the back-splash and I can't turn the water off. I have to turn the water off under the sink. What to do?

Posée par: Sharron V
It is possible that the adapter is beginning to strip. Please contact our customer care line at 800-442-1902 for parts assistance.
