Rated 5 de 5 de par Great little smoker for the price Great value for the money. Metals a little thin and came to the house with some dents in thebarrel and edges. I was able to correct them with my hands and a pair of pliers. I used it the weekend that I got it and it did a really good got smoking the baby back ribs that I smoked. A word of warning the interior measurement is NOT 21 inches it is more like 18. I could get the ribs in using a rib rack but I had to bend the edges a little. The temperature Guage is not very accurate but since I use a thermometer it wasn't that big of a deal to me. The food that came out was tender and juicy like it should be. For the 78 dollars that I spent was not wasted and a lot cheaper than the Weber.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great grill Bar the built-in temperature gauge, this grill is amazing. I love the flavor and the way it cooks--no dry meat! The built in thermometer isn't that great, and I'm pretty sure mine got jarred and shipping or something, but as long as you use a meat thermometer, which you ALWAYS should, it awesome. I love it. I put it my meat on and walk away! Only periodically checking on the charcoal. Perfect for movie marathons with my fiance!

I've had it for 4 months now. So far I've smoked brisket, salmon, beef ribs, burgers, and chicken. All turned out awesome. Construction was easy. Minor dings when came in but assembled nicely. Like everyone else has said, the thermometer is functional, but a more precise thermometer is useful. Temps always stay in Ideal range. Exceeded expectations for the money. See pictures below. Have already recommended this to every friend I know.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great for the price I am still experimenting with my smoker, but so far I have had mostly good results. The hardware that came with the smoker was different than the directions showed so I had a few things to figure out but it wasn't too bad. The directions for how much charcoal to use could be a little better, but I think this will just take some practice. What I have found so far is that you will need more than the least charcoal they recommend for cooking, and less than the most. If you put a full heaping pile on the grates, you will fight to keep the temperature down the entire time. The burn in said to use about a pound, but you will need more than that to get the temperature up above 200. The lack of an actual temperature gauge is a little frustrating, but the temperature ranges are enough to give you the general idea.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Fantastic purchase We have smoked 5 different things so far and grilled a couple more. this is a great addition to any cook's arsenal. Mind your temperatures when smoking. Make sure you have a couple of thermometers to check the temp of the smoker and the temp of the food. It's locally made and of solid construction. Well done. We appreciate that it also is a mini portable grill. Easy to put together, easy to use, cleans up well.

Rated 2 de 5 de par you get what you paid for First of all, the product came damaged, a big dent on the side, so i bent out the dent. I then put it together and found that nothing allied. the lid did not fit properly. it had large spaces where heat could escape. This is a poorly made smoker, and you get what you paid for. For a quality smoker, pay the extra price, it would be worth it

We had trouble keeping the temp up, but that could have been our error. Not happy with the shipping. Box had been beat up and we had to work a dent out of the grill body.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Nice smoker, does a good job on pork butt, ribs, chicken, and turkey. Easy to assemble, does a good job on butts, ribs, chicken even turkey. Break it down and you can do steak and burgers quickly. Nice product for the price. I've been smoking meat for forty five years and this is all you need to enjoy good food.

Can you use wood instead is charcoal with this smoker?

You can smoke meats with any sort of fuel you want. I use natural charcoal because it has no additives. Fresh green wood will burn very hot, I would not use raw wood myself.
