Can these panels be used on the inside walls of a freestanding shower? Thank you.

I would highly recommend NOT using this in a shower. I did, and it failed miserably. I am a professional tiler and a client wanted this to replace the Barker Board in her cottage bathroom. I installed as per manufacturers specs. I used liquid nails and PL construction adhesive on a proper backing. The install was perfect. All corners and breaches 100% silicone. The surface of the board allowed moisture in along the fake grout lines. It is poorly made. When I contacted the manufacturer they told me it was swollen from behind with moisture. Seeing as how there are no sources of water where the main failure occurred....that's impossible. I went as far as removing the other side of the wall and sending them pictures to show the 100% dry substrate. Then they sent me this email "The tileboard was installed in an area not recommended to be installed in. Supplier says there was definate moisture looking like it was swollen from behind. These panels are not waterproof and should not be installed in areas subject to moisture and high humidity." .....WOW...thats right, even though they advertise HIGH RESISTANCE TO MOISTURE.... I gather that really means don't get them wet! I lost over a week of my life installing this garbage, and will have to re-do the tub surround at my own expense and time. Don't go near this product. It will eventually be deleted from Home Depots inventory I hope.
