Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome. This isn't a cheap tin shed. It was a lot of work. 84 man hours. Get some help. If you are not good at interpreting and following directions, get a lot of help. Make sure that your base is level, or the building will tweak, and it will be hard to line up the holes. Common sense. The end result is well worth the effort. I think it is a great value for the buck. And it looks great. Would do it again. Recommended for those looking for a longer lasting quality shed.

Rated 2 de 5 de par way over priced 20 foot shed This shed takes 2 men 3 to 4 days to build--many of the holes didn't line up--your base must be perfectly level--it is made of a very weak metal--if you lean on it or your kids hit it with a ball, it dents--buy a wooden shed--it will last longer and be more secure

Rated 3 de 5 de par Nice Shed I had this delivered a month ago because of the dimensions posted on the website. However I could have saved myself $200.00 because it came in 4 boxes and would have fit in my 1/2 tonne. All the holes in the frame to secure the outside tin were too small for the Screws that came with the building so they ALL needed to be pre drilled bigger to fit the screws. We are used to carpentry and it still took us over 3 full weekends to assemble even though the floor was built and levelled before the shed showed up. Don't waste the $200 for delivery if your home depot is close and pre drill your holes to give you less grief.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy to assemble I needed a shed to enclose my well pump equipment but I decided to make it bigger. I chose the Arrow 10 x 20 foot shed. The instructions are clear and concise, amazingly accurate. Every hole lines up with a little help from an icepick. The hardware is lacking gripper nuts but a bent open end wrench and power screwdriver are helpful. A few days are needed to complete the shed. Time will tell how the shed holds up to the weather but I am pleased with the purchase.

Do not try to put this together without an awl, I am very thankful I saw that recommendation by another review. 25 hours to put together is a good estimate (I have 10' by 20'). The directions are relatively easy to follow, there are a few confusing issues, but it isn't that tough. The hardest part of the entire operation is putting together the trusses, believe it or not, screwing the screws into the pre drilled holes is very difficult (you can forget using a power drill) and left my hands in blisters. Worst part was that there were numerous parts missing. I had two key parts to one truss missing, plus a few other parts that I was able to replace with stuff I bought at Home Depot. This dropped my review significantly. Best part was the price, easily half the cost of similar sized sheds sold at Home Depot in the store. I put my shed on a concrete floor 4-6 inches thick. Probably the hardest part of the whole job.

Rated 3 de 5 de par What a pain to assembly Ok once assembled this building is nice so the three star rating is because of assembly. For the 10x20 their is 4 truss assembly's you must put together which each have 22 pieces each. This thing is like a large erector set and is a pain to put together. The hardware you get is cheap screws you get for the roof is small screws with plastic washers you must put on every screw. I opted not to install those in my roof because the plastic will crack over time in the sun and leak. I used self tapping sheet metal screws with rubber gaskets for a better seal. Pre drilled holes don't all line up so it makes it harder. One piece of advice I have is to ensure you are level and square during the whole assembly process. I would also consider the assembly time which took two of us 2 1/2 weekends and look at a wood model yes more expensive but would be so much easier to put together. And yes we both know about construction. The only way I would suggest this product is if you only bought the 10x10 because the larger you go like the one I bought the 10 x 20 you get two 5 foot expansion modules and the holes and extruded pieces are not exactly the same probably due to poor QA during manufacturing I hope this review informs you of what to expect with this building and if size vs cost is you main consern as it was for me than this may be for you just be prepared for some labor and irritation.

Rated 3 de 5 de par too exspensive for the quality Extremely tedious to put together. Very small screws and nuts, the metal is so thin and weak that if you lean against it you will dent it.

Rated 5 de 5 de par What a cool economical way to have a large shed. It took a little work, but well worth it. A much larger shed than we could have gotten in a wood shed for the price.

If I order a shed, do I have to put it together or the company has someone to do it?

Posée par: Mont
Hello, Our sheds are designed as DIY projects in hopes of saving on installation costs. We recommend at least two people are required to assemble a shed of any size – at least one to position parts or panels, and one to handle fasteners and tools. Assembly time depends on a variety of factors, including roof design, tools available, DIY skill and the pace at which you work. Guidelines for each shed assembly are approximate AFTER completion of the base, and assume two or more people working on the assembly. Generally, you should plan on at least one day working with someone who can assist you. We try to make our manuals as detailed as possible in order to prevent mistakes. You can always visit our website for assembly tips or call us for assembly support 7 days a week at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). http://www.shelterlogic.com/arrow-sheds/maintenance/assembly-tips/ Thank you

Do you need a cement floor?

Posée par: Cook
That is the best option. However, a wood deck can work if you don't mind dealing with a few problems, that being the height at which you end up above grade. If you have the space for a ramp, problem solved. Evaluate the weight of objects that will be occupying the shed. If you have a riding mower, you will need to build your ramp and floor out of heavy treated SYP 2x10 or 2x12, spaced close, @ 12" o.c., Maybe even 8 or even 6 o.c. A working knowledge of structural engineering would be invaluable here. Set the frame on leveled ground on gravel for drainage. Also I would double deck it with 3/4 in plywood, staggering seams. Build your deck to the outside dimensions of the shed frame. After the first layer of plywood set your floor frame (Make sure you are square every step of the way!) and build your shed. Waterproof your exterior with caulk or a bitumen (tar) sealer. Then seal if required with caulk on the inside and add your 2nd layer of plywood, thereby raising your floor level above the frame. I have another way to do this. Build your deck to the inside dimensions of the shed frame, nail on both layers of plywood, and lag treated 4x4's around the perimeter about 2-2 1/2" down from the top of the plywood. This also raises the floor, and does away with having to seal it. Just make sure you can build the entire shed without interference, or you have 4-8 people to pick it up, carry it to the base and set it. A third possibility is to set 2x4's on the 4x4's to raise it up if you needed to, complete the shed, then pull them out when ready. I may have just succeeded in making the cement look like a snap. Make it 4" thick, use rebar around and every two feet and tie 6x6 concrete mesh at two inches. Consider placing hardware in the concrete for tie down purposes. I calculate 1.62 yards of concrete, Order 2 yards and have some small projects ready to go for the excess. I would use a pro for the finishing, and he will check your formwork to make sure it's a success. Good luck!

Can this shed be built on an existing tar/pavement Driveway?
Posée par: mark
Hi Mark, If you existing drive way is completely level you could install it there. However, we recommend building a concrete or wooden base. If you would like to discuss this in more detail please feel free to call us at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). Thank you
