Rated 5 de 5 de par Great blade, even better value! I've had this blade in my saw for 3 months, I use it every working day as a carpenter. I originally bought these as a band-aid while waiting for my Diablo's to be sharpened. I haven't had a reason to take this out of the saw yet. I"ve cut just about everything with it, baseboard, solid maple crown moulding, melamine, plywood - everything basically. I always get very good clean straight cuts. The blade runs true and doesn't deflect or bog down while cutting. After 3 months and thousands of cuts later I'm still on the first blade. It always help to clean the pitch off the blades every so often to keep it sharper longer.

I'm floor installer this pack of deal comes great for me and they last a long time . we have try different brands but can't hold up to the task like these. having 60-tooth give us a much smooth cut for a good price. i like that is easy to install and have the the arrows to sow you which way the blade sold face. we have been using them since 2013 when a friend recommended them. for the price and the tooth and the durability it exceeds my expectations and we use these for commercial every day use . for a normal use it will last you a long time.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good for casual cutting. I certainly would not buy this blade if I were a pro, I would spend the extra money to get a more rugged and known brand / model. This blade, however, is great for the DIY and handy-person type work. I certainly cuts better than the dull blade I replaced. It was straight (no wobbling), sharp, and a good direct replacement 10" blade. It has already started showing wear and will not hold its edge as long as a pro would like. I did two medium sized decks and cuts are getting slower and sloppier. Not BAD, just that the sharpness is starting to wane. If money is no problem - get a better blade. If you're on a budget or don't do a lot of cuts, this blade will work well for you.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Not good for laminate Bought this to rip a few laminate blades. The 140 teeth count seemed good as the experts say the more teeth the better when cutting laminate flooring. I got half way through the first the first plank with difficulty. The saw was jamming and the laminate was burning. Pulled the saw out and never used the blade. It was new first time using it. Very disappointed. I ended up using a jigsaw with laminate blades and worked like a charm. Don't buy this as a cheap alternative to expensive laminate blades you can use for a project and throw away. You won't get past the first plank.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great saw blade I wasn't expecting such a smooth cut from a 40 tooth avanti blade but this saw blade really surprised me. Smooth rips through solid oak flooring. Cut through melamine, and painted mdf without any chips or tears. Mind you, I did run it through the saw at a slower speed but it did a fantastic job. Did such a great job on my table saw, decided to get a 12" 80 tooth for my mitre saw. Avanti Pro's are giving my diablos a real run for their money. I've only been running them in my saws for a month so I can't comment on longevity. If I get 3-4 months out of each and at least 1 resharpen I'll be very happy.

I needed a 10 inch for my table saw. Knowing how well the 12 inch sat around in the package I decided to buy a pair of 10 inch blades. Put it on and went to cut a important door jamb cut and it cut horrible, and upon looking at the 80 inch cut it was incredibly crooked... how does this happen on a table saw? Put on my old blade and every thing was back to good. Turns out that when the blade was manufactured the cut height of the carbide tip (left and right) were different. Easy to see when looking at the blade after one cut only half of the carbide tips had paint removed the others were half, which lead to a terrible binding ordeal.

Made in China vs. Italy. I am a DIYer who installs laminate, frames walls, and makes hardwood spice racks, etc. for my family. This blade is on my miter chop saw. It cuts like a hot knife blah, blah, blah.... Here is a tip for cutting laminate: Laminate will dull a blade quickly if you cut with the laminate side up (70 -100 cuts). If you cut with the laminate side down, the blade will remain sharp much longer. However only do this on cuts that will be covered by floor molding as there will be slight chipping of the laminate. Since almost all cuts ARE covered, conserve your blades by cutting laminate this way.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Decent for the price These blades are perfect for general use like rough cutting lumber or wood that won't be seen on the finished project. The cut quality is not as good as a Diablo blade but at $10-$15 per blade it's hard to compare. One super annoying problem with these blades is the blue paint color. It will rub off on your workpiece until it gets worn down. I was making test cuts on a 2x4 and it took a good 20-30 cuts before the blue had mostly gone away. I still have blue marks occasionally that need to be sanded off. Diablo blades are worth every penny but there is no point in spending the extra cash for cutting building materials. If your intention is to use this blade for woodworking I think you would be better served with the Diablo blade.

Is this a combination blade or a box joint blade?

Is this a combination blade or a box joint blade?
Posée par: Morgan
Aloha Morgan - combination blade - for fine finish cuts. It's not a box joint blade (if you cut a slot in your workpiece - it won't be flat bottomed if that's what you're asking). The teeth aren't flat ground, so you'll have a ridge in the bottom of the cut. It's a GREAT inexpensive blade though - and two for the sale price is a good deal.

I am looking for a nice blade to cut vinyl products. Suggestions please.

I am looking for a nice blade to cut vinyl products. Suggestions please.
Posée par: Manny
It depends upon the type, particularly the thickness of the vinyl product you are cutting. There are blades made for different types of vinyl. What vinyl cutting blades have in common is a high tooth count: 90 to 180 teeth on a 10-inch blade.
