Rated 5 de 5 de par Now that's a big swing set this is a huge swing set compared to the back yard metal swing sets that my sister played on during the 1950s .... Luckily i had taken down a 18 foot above ground pool years ago and the area was perfect for this size swing set.... My wife and I are 72 years old and we took our time reading the directions and assembling sections in our garage due to rain outdoors.. We put it all together the next day in our yard with a total time of 4 hours start to finished. My 7 year old granddaughter loves that she can swing high similar to the school playground swings... Also we appreciated the Fedex driver carrying the 3 heavy cartons from his truck into our garage...

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Set for Older Kids I purchased this set to replace a wooden playhouse/set that my boys had outgrown. They're 17 and 13 and I knew I needed something solid. I liked the Big Brutus because of the weight capacity and the height of the top bar - I couldn't find those 2 features in other sets anywhere near the price of The Big Brutus. They also use an innovative piece of hardware to secure the set to the ground that does not require any concrete. I admit to being a bit skeptical but 2 years in and no worries. Big Brutus arrived in good condition. It was well packed and the directions were well drawn. I assembled myself in about 3 hours start to finish - Just needed some help to right the set after assembly.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Big Brutus Swing Set - the best! All the positive reviews were spot on. My oldest grandson (age 9) loves to swing and the old swing set was falling apart. He hasn't been diagnosed autistic, but there is some degree there. When he stays over, he runs out as soon as he gets up and swings. Throughout the day he swings often and I love to watch him. He was a bit sad about the old swing set, but has forgotten all about it now. His mom assembled this for me!! It wasn't that hard and we both stood it up with no help from anyone. It anchors so well which is good because Holden swings very high!! I just LOVE IT and so do the grand kids!! So happy I did my research and found it. He will be able to swing on it for many years to come.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best swing set Very heavy duty set. Reminds us of playground grade swing sets. Instruction booklet says about a 3 hour installation time and it took us about 4 hours to complete. Easy to follow instructions. We laid all our parts out in the yard first which made it so much easier to locate the pieces needed. Honestly the most difficult part was attaching the legs to the top rail and then trying to stand the almost 10’ set up. We balanced the top rail on two 10’ ladders, which I’m sure isn’t the safest way but the only way we could come up with. Very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Heavy duty! I have been looking for a long time for a swingset that is sturdy and has a higher weight limit. I have two sons with non-verbal autism and they love swinging more than anything else in the world! As they both grow it has been hard to find a replacement for their small swingset that could withstand their weight. Then I found the Big Brutus!!! It is almost 10 feet tall and so very solid!!! I LOVE that it comes with ground anchors (something that none of the other swingsets I viewed offered) and it is so easy to assemble as well! They even have an app that shows you step by step instructions, which was a Godsend. I am absolutely in love with the set, as are my sons. They are on it every single day, and with schools closed and self-isolation enforced, it has been the best purchase I have ever made. If you are looking for a solid swingset that will last you many years, look no further. You will not be disappointed!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Rock solid but slightly wobbly Have had it for a few months now, kids love it! They're rough on it but you'd never know by looking at it. Being able to handle and adult every now and then is a bonus. The only hitch (the 1/2 star off) is the fact that it wobbles a bit side to side, but I guess there's not much that can be done about that except adding braces to the sides, but that would make the set bigger than it needs to be and easy to trip over the braces. Perhaps if the legs are a bit angled in towards each other to increase stability side to side (but I'm no engineer, I could be wrong).
