Rated 5 de 5 de par It's Always Midnight In My Backyard We have a large and unsightly stucco retaining wall in our rear yard. About 10 years ago I was inspired to paint it a bright cobalt blue (using Behr paint, of course, that is the only paint I use) As the wall gets a fair amount of sun, I was concerned about fading. And yes, fade it did. AFTER 10 YEARS! Earlier this summer I repainted it with Behr Masonry, Stucco, & Brick paint. I used a quality Home Depot roller and chose "Midnight Blue" for the color this time. I'm thrilled with the results! My plants and garden art "pop" against this beautiful color and my formerly boring wall is now a focal point of the yard. I wish I was able to post pictures for all to enjoy!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent Coverage on Stucco with Old Concrete Top [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This took three cans to do the entire wall and the coverage was excellent on the first coat. I went back and did excessive painting on the touch up on the second coat and I was amazed at how smoothly the paint adheres to the cement top. No peeling properties to this paint so far! Some areas are much thicker coats of paint than others and this paint is on there tight and color smooth. The wall looks amazing!! There are no flaws in this paint job. By the way my color is " Minimum Beige" Card HDC MD-17 yellowish but very pretty! I would paint my house in this color!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this on are new home that we purchased a year ago, what a FANTASTIC paint, I am not person who likes to paint, in fact I dread it, however this paint covered so well and went on so easy with a 1/2" nap roller that I actually enjoyed the project, it went on evenly and consistent even though the hand trolled surface was ruff, clean up was a breeze witch was a huge and most wecolmed plus. We have received positive comments from everyone who has come to our house since we painted. I have and will continue to highly recommend your paints to everyone. Thank you for such a superior product.

Rated 4 de 5 de par fading [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied Sage Moss MS-51 to a textured and smooth cinder block patio wall, it held up well [ a few small peels only on some saw-cut smooth block which I attribute to the blocks, not the paint based on the superior adhesion elsewhere] however, this year I notice that the color has faded looking more like the color card Mesa Verde MS-64, almost aqua in appearance. I was disappointed as the adhesion is fine and other than the fading would not need to be re-coated this year. Seeing the statement 'lasts 20 years in all climatic conditions' I would assume that it wouldn't fade in several short years.

We decided to take the plunge & paint. We have used behr inside for 20 years on several homes. Trusting the brand we used the Mason & brick. We live outside Buffalo NY where we have 90 degree summers & 5 feet of snow in a day sometimes in winter. Not only has the product stood up to weather but it was a easy application. We are a stand out in our generic neighborhood & several neighbors are taking the plunge this summer with our recommendation & outcome. We are lifelong Behr customers

Rated 5 de 5 de par Out performed a Hurricane [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last spring I bought 40 gallons of this paint and shipped it to St. Jean du Sud, Haiti to be used to paint their church. Last month Hurricane Matthew hit the village destroying or heavily damaging 90% of the structures. The church rood was ripped from the building, but the Behr stucco paint held to the walls without damage. While the rood is being replaced there is no need to repaint the building. Thanks, Behr. I am sure that we will be buying more Behr paint to ship to Haiti in the coming months.

Rated 4 de 5 de par 5 star on coverage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always use Behr paint! 2nd facelift for my house in 18yrs. 4yrs ago i painted the brick to dark brown, used Behr stucco paint then - loved it! this time i love the paint but what i have had a problem with 6yrs ago and now again is the same Behr color from exterior paint to the stucco formula ! Below is Behr "off-white" in both formulas and clearly it is different shade from the Brick to the Siding. Both substrates have 2 FULL coats of paint. 6yrs ago and now today after 12 gallons of exterior paint and 6 gallons of Brick/stucco paint am I going to redo the whole thing again ? I am a 56 yr old widow I have done all my own painting on this house.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best Purchase Ever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the color, "Sequoia" and painted our 1969 stucco home that has not been painted or taken care of in 40 years. We used a roller on the walls and a paint brush on the trim. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. We weren't sure if we were going to have to use a paint sprayer to get even coverage but we didn't. This paint has given our house a new life and we get so many compliments on the color. It is such a warm color and brings out the greenery around the home.

What prep work is necessary to paint exterior parging on my house prior to applying the paint?

Hi Valerie, thanks for the question. To prepare the parging before painting, I'd recommend the following steps. If the surface was previously painted, remove any of the coating that is loose or peeling, clean/power wash the surface to remove any caulking, and let it dry, If there is still chalking on the surface, I'd recommend using our Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer to prime over the chalking prior to painting. Hello TinaH, Thanks for reaching out. The Behr Masonry, Stucco and Brick Paint isn’t designed for horizontal surfaces with exposure to foot traffic or areas that are too hot for the touch. We have tested our products and found that temperatures above 140F-200F will cause the coating to fail. can you use this paint on driveway pavers and if so do you first need a primer? Mike

Hi Wildman, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we do not recommend using our Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint on surfaces that will be walked or driven on. Alternatively, I recommend checking out our Solid Color Concrete Stain. It provides an opaque finish, similar to paint, that can be used on your driveway pavers. In that case, we recommend priming the surface with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any other questions. -Lina

Does this product have a curing time at which time it starts to resemble the paint chip color ?

Hi JackB, Thank you for writing in. Behr Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint has a (minimum) 14-day cure time. I see that this product listing is for an untinted deep base. If this paint is not tinted before use, it tends to look like watered down Elmer's glue and will not change to a different color. What is the actual coverage of a gallon? The Behr website says 250-400 Sq. Ft Coverage per Gallon, but the Home Depot site says 125 sq feet.
