Rated 5 de 5 de par Amazing! I bought this 2 months ago and I definitely love this primer. Works for concrete and also wood. It really dries up in 30 mins and i love the way that is waterproof. So far is the best brand of paint that I been using in this humid- rainy climate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 de 5 de par Didn't do what it claims First, I am a 30 year career painter, I have tried many water based primers and stain blockers and this one is no better than the rest... The dry time is way longer than stated. Simple water stains bleed right thru. Niciten comes right thru. Don't want the money on this expensive primer, pay half the cost for original kilz, it does the job.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great product used the product for priming my porch floor. 425 three inch full 5/4 tong and grove southern yellow pine. I primed all 6 sides with two coats. It worked very well with my sprayer no thinning right out of the can . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good coverage This product has awesome coverage! I was told for the size of room I painted that I needed three gallons. I only used one for both first and top coats. Very impressed with the quality! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Behr Mult-Surface Primer I bought this so that I could prep my back deck to be restrained. I’m very Happy with it. Now I’m hoping that it last as long as it claimed on the can. I’m sure that it’s going to. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great coverage Used this on a concrete basement wall, and it covered well, with one coat. Great product, would be happy to use again, in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par GREAT COVERAGE I bought this primer to cover my concrete patio floor. I patched a few cracks in the cement first and covered most of the imperfections. After applying this primer, the floor looked smooth and blemish free. I could have used this coat as a white base for my stencil and it would have been perfect! I used the rest of the primer to paint my stucco walls on the patio - these were previously painted and the paint was peeling. It covered the previous paint so well that you couldn't even notice it was previously painted. Very happy with this product purchase! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am getting a late start to my exterior painting project.

I am wondering if I need to wait until spring so as not to diminish the durability of the paint. I would be using Behr Premium Plus Ultra Flat finish, which has a low temp rating to 35 degrees F. The temps for the next week are going to be between 40- 45 degrees F during the day. These temps will probably continue now through spring. This is an older house with wood siding that is exposed (peeled paint that I stripped off) and should have been painted a few years ago (I recently bought it as a repo house). I am concerned that if I wait until spring, the siding may not last through the wet, cold winter weather with bare wood being exposed. Wait or go ahead?

We would recommend using Behr's Ultra paint if the temperatures will be above 35 degrees F during the curing process of the paint. The paint takes two weeks to fully cure if applied according to the label directions. The paint may fail prematurely if the paint drops below the recommended temperatures.

What exterior paint is best for our front porch?

We plan to paint our front porch, which is wood. We're concerned with people slipping and need some advice. We want to paint it white. What paint and/or other product should we use to ensure safety? Thank you very much.
    Posée par: Anonyme
We would recommend using Behr's Porch and Floor paint. This paint is ideal for walking surfaces and can be mixed into the color of your choice. You can also mix in a packet of Behr's Non-Skid Additive for added skid resistance.

If I use behr premium plus ultra satin exterior paint on siding will it peel off.

Have a section of siding at the back of the house that I would like to use this paint on. I have used it last year on a metal trim when I had a sliding door put in and it looks great, however I am not sure what the result will be if I use this product on siding. Note that this siding is covered by a 10 foot overhang so it never sees any sunlight and never gets wet. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Behr's Premium Plus Ultra Exterior paints can be applied over most properly prepared coated or uncoated exterior sidings. This paint is ideal for wood, vinyl, aluminum, fiber cement siding, metals, brick, masonry, stucco and steel. Please read the label to determine the preparation directions for your specific type of substrate.
