Rated 5 de 5 de par Highly recommend this wet dry vac! I love my CrossWave Wet Dry Vac. I have wood floors in my house except for one large area rug in my formal living room. This wet dry vac works wonderful on my floors and what I love best about it is that when you let up on the cleaning dispenser button, the machine will suck up excess water from your floor so it can dry faster. My floors looked really good after cleaning them and I was shocked at how dirty the water was that got sucked up. It also does a good job on the area rug which I'm happy for because now I won't have to rent a rug cleaner. It's not hard to take apart to clean or put back together and I'm so happy I purchased this vac.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Good for daily use not deep clean I would have given this four stars but there are a few things that needed to be adjusted. First it does an amazing job cleaning surface stains. But it does not hit very well against the base board. You will need to mop that area for complete cleaning. Additionally if there is sticky surface or stuck on stain you either have to go over a few times or you have to pull out the mop. I think over all it's a good purchase if you want to clean up an immediate mess, it cleaned my dog food area good and you want to just maintain cleanliness it work well. But eventually you will have to pull out the old fashion mop to get a deep clean...no regret of purchase.

I am a Professional Consumer Scientist and sent back a Crosswave to the company for a replacement because the water jets would not put out cleaning solution.The same problem is occurring with the replacement. Your Research and Development Dept. has not done its job. I am doing their job for them. The certified repair man told me that he sees this cleaner for the same problem over and over. I have investigated the design of the out-put jets and find them too small, poorly located and not easily unclogged. You should take these off the market until I can test a newer design. I have used wet floor cleaners for 35 years.

Rated 1 de 5 de par NOT recommended. Does not work as described! This is only the second time I have used the vacuum and it does NOT work as described! I have vynil floors and since my cat sheds, I pre sweep the whole house. I do it so the vacuum won't get clogged. If there is a spot on the floor, I have to go over and over and still does not come out. This leads me to get down and scrub the spot out myself. If I leave it standing for a minute, it leaves a muddy puddle on the floor. So now I have to sit it in a towel whenever I stop. I thought buying this expensive vacuum would save me time, but in fact, I have to pre sweep and mop myself. I would like to return it, I still have the box. It's terrible!

Rated 5 de 5 de par I just bought it ... first day I just bought my crosswave today. So far, it was very simple to unbox and put together. I was cleaning my kitchen floor within 5 minutes of openiing the box. It cleaned very well and was easy to operate.. I especially that I can dry my floor somewhat and when I was through it only took about 3 minutes for the floor to be dry enough to walk on. I was doing some cooking and dropped some scrap potato peels on the floor. I grabbed the crosswave and it made quick work of picking these up and I did a quick cleaning where I was cooking. Very nice. I like it a lot and I think I will grow to love it. I will update this review at a later date.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Surprisingly Good I was surprised at how well it cleaned my tile floors. The only draw back to these type of machines is the clean up. It really wasn't too bad but warning, the only one with a strainer basket built in is the pet version. The first time I dumped it into my sink I was flabbergasted. The 2nd time I used an old food strainer to pour the dirty water through to keep the big stuff out of my drain pipes. The fact that the whole idea is to not have to vacuum before washing, should have told bissell that there will be a lot of gunk that shouldn't go down your drain. Thus 4 instead of 5 stars. I haven't used it on my hardwood floor yet but expect good results.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Incredible Product I waited until I had used this product several times before I decided to write a review. I have several cats. They have access to a fenced "outside" room. So, they come in with muddy paws a lot. This cleaner is awesome. Saves me soooo much time, and I am cleaning my floors more often. I am a little OCD, and I do want a clean house. And, I do want my pets. I will admit that sometimes I pre-clean with my vacuum to get up scattered kitty litter. Then I use my Crosswave. I love it and it does a great job. I don't find the cleanup of the machine after use any more tiresome than cleaning up a cordless vacuum. Highly recommended. I have used it on wood floors and area rugs.

Compared to having vacuumed my hard wood floors separately in the past to pick up all loose dust and dirt, and then having had to pass a wet sponge mop using a bucket of vinegar water, the Bissell CrossWave is a blessing. I used it on both my hard wood floors and to clean my area rugs and it worked like a dream. I admit it requires some degree of clean up of its various parts but I think it is well worth the effort when you see the nice results, and are able to clean your floors and rugs so much more quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend it. It pays for itself over and over with each application.

How well does this work for vacuuming dog hair from area rug?

The CrossWave vacuums while refreshing the area rug - it does a great job of pulling surface hair off of the area rug and also helps keep the fibres clean which is important to extend the life of the rug. That said, it does not have the agitation and suction required to pull out deeply embedded dog fur from your area rug - It is recommended to use a full sized upright vacuum to do your deeper vacuuming for that purpose.
