Rated 1 de 5 de par Don't Use on Glass While this bit may or may not work on ceramic, this is very poor quality for drilling glass. I was drilling a sheet of glass for mounting on top of a table, and the bit only got about 1/8" deep into the 0.25" glass before becoming so dull it wouldn't cut any further. This cutting was done with lubrication and making sure to not press on the bit and damage it. If you're cutting glass, get a diamond bit like what Dremel sells. The 0.25" Dremel diamond bit (while larger than I wanted) drilled all 4 holes in 20 minutes. While $25 is much more than $8, it's worth it since it actually works.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Not Bad I picked up this drill in order to drill some glass mosaic in order for a new switch/switch plate to fit. It did in fact cut the glass well, but I noticed that when it started getting hot it stopped removing material. As soon as I dipped it in water and back into the hole you could see steam so followed by the removal of material. For the job I needed it for it was perfect and it did not wander at the start. But I can see how large jobs could be a problem for this little bit.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Useless on Porcelain I purchased this 3/16 bit a day ago to drill porcelain tiles. Never managed to complete a single hole before the bit wore out.

Rated 3 de 5 de par it worked but they work but they have no longevity i had to drill ceramic tiles for mounting a toilet bought 2 thank god i did cuz they are now junk both of them 6 or 8 holes had to be drill but it was the only thing that would have done to job but if they are not going to cut it the price should be less per unit

Rated 2 de 5 de par not impressed The bit worked great for the first hole. Had trouble with the second and was a waste of time drilling the third. Was not impressed and should have saved my money. I followed the directions and even watched the you tube video to make sure I was doing it right.
