Rated 3 de 5 de par Leaf plckup adjustments not the best I can only use one adjustment level out of 6 to adequately pick up leaves. Assembly of leaf catcher was hampered by proper alignment of bolt holes, some jigging was necessary which I found disappointing for such a expensive piece of equipment.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Overall very satisfied I've owned this sweeper for 3 years now and the only problem I've had was with the metal gears that allow it to freewheel while backing up. This was after 2 1/2 years of use. The gears had excessive wear which wouldn't let the pins engage to turn the brushes while moving forward. Ordered replacement parts from Brinly but will try to machine out the bad spots myself the next time it happens, because it will happen again. The sweeper does a great job picking up clippings and leaves and even some twigs. I have even picked up walnuts with it. I recommend buying the add on dethatcher. I completely filled the sweeper up with only thatch from only half of my yard the first time I used the dethatcher. My grass is in much better shape now. If you have a belt driven mower be careful with picking up wet grass ( I mow early in the day due to working 2nd shift so grass is always wet) because you will be pulling a lot of weight and wear out drive belts. Also pay close attention to the height you set it at. It can go low enough to stop the brushes from moving and just drag across the surface. Overall I am very satisfied with this sweeper and I don't cut it any slack. It's tough

Rated 4 de 5 de par Overall a good product with one issue I purchased this along with the dethatcher kit back in February. They set in the garage for a few weeks before I decided to put them together. The image of the sweeper shows the height adjustment handle in the middle. This is the older version of this sweeper. The new version has the height adjustment handle on the right side (when facing it). That meant that the dethatcher kit would not fit. Even though Home Depot says it does. I checked Brinly's website and they currently do not make a dethatcher kit for the new version of their sweeper. Thankfully the standalone dethatcher is the same price as the kit. Otherwise the sweeper works great. The cord has plenty of length on it, and the sweeper picks up just about anything. The instructions are a bit cumbersome, and seem incomplete at the end. I have one screw that I installed per the instructions that isn't actually used for anything, it is literately just filling a hole in the bar.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great Product We have 100 year old oak trees covering 2acres and the sweeper cleaned them up in one pass! Great investment for lower back health

Rated 4 de 5 de par Satisfied Bought this Lawn Sweeper from Home Depot last month. Used it twice so far, and I am mostly pleased. I have more than an acre lawn with lots of trees. It does a good job picking up the leaves. But N. Florida longleaf pine needles are long enough that they wrap around the brushes and sometimes clog it up. Have to stop once in a while to unclog the brushes. Also noticed once the bag gets 2/3 full, the sweeper begins to leave or drop almost as many leafs as it picks up, so have to empty often. The small nylon rope that comes with it, for emptying the bag doesn't last long. Replaced it with larger rope and it works much better. Overall does a reasonably good job, with a reasonable price tag.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Sweeper great benefit for large yard. Product was relatively easy to assemble, second set of hands would had made the job go quicker. Once attached to mower the unit was fairly easy to adjust to proper height for sweeping up leaves and small twigs/branches. Unit filled very quickly and was easy to dump once the pull rope was secured to rear of seat.

Rated 5 de 5 de par absolutely worth the money I was absolutely amazed how well this unit worked, brought the unit home took about an hour to put it together then hooked to my tractor and swepted the lawn and it worked to perfection no problems what so ever

Can it pick up after cedar trees in the fall? My last sweeper did okay with leaves but did not do well picking up after cedar trees.

    Posée par: Gail
There are 10 brush height adjustment settings on this sweeper. It works great picking up leaves and grass clippings but you might notice it may take a few passes for cedar tree leaves.

Will it pick grass after I cut my lawn.?

    Posée par: ranmau
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use the sweeper to pick up cut grass. You can also save time by sweeping as you mow!

will this sweeper also pick up branches and does it store easily for the winter?

    Posée par: Johngo
Johngo - The sweeper may pick up small twigs but be cautious as they could damage the hamper. We do recommend storing the sweeper under some type of shelter when not in use, the hamper does collapse for easy storage.
