The hammer function beating around the rusted Axel area loosen up the rotor where it could be easily pulled off. The price was excellent. I had a little bit smaller air tank than was required but had no issues.

Worked great with my small air compressor. There is very little to no vibration which definitely reduced fatigue, you will need to get some accessories with this depending on use. I used this in my kitchen because I made some mistakes on the backsplash. It cut the mosaic tile and grout out nicely. This is overall a nice handy tool. Having used several competing manufacturers' air hammers in the past, I was anticipating the kind of vibration fatigue you get from using a gas powered weed whacker for an hour. Not with this unit. Chisel bit swaps outs are fast and easy, as expected. Of course it worked well on the basics like rusty bolt cutting and concrete and brick paver chipping. Where it really outperformed my older units was with metal shearing (see short video). I was able to easily cut through light to medium gauge sheet metal and diamond plate readily following straight and curved lines. The grips are excellent and cover both the handle and top to give good adhesion and minimize vibration. Felt really comfortable even after extended use. I prefer the shorter barrel units like this especially under the car. Cutting exhaust parts away in tight spots can be problematic with the long barrel units, but with this it's a breeze. It isn't a stubby barrel, but short enough. While all my old bits worked well, I did invest in a new set to go with this quality piece. I installed a short whip hose on this unit (which is recommended by Campbell-Hausfeld). It does make oiling this tougher but worth the hassle to prevent fitting breakage. Plan on using a lot of oil with this as well. unlike the 3 drops you might use in a nailer, this uses a lot all the time. The instructions go so far as to recommend a teaspoon at start up and running till no more comes out the exhaust port. No amount is too much! As far as air usage, this does use a fair amount quickly, however, my 90 gallon stationary compressor easily kept up even with very long extended runs. I'm super pleased with this unit and highly recommend it.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The die grinder was in its retail cardboard box and emerged unscathed, but the air hammer's barrel is spotted evenly with rust. This is during a good portion of January and the beginning of February in southeast PA/north DE/North MD where we enjoy ~300% humidity year round, but I would bet if it was sold in a disposable "deli-fresh" container that doesn't seem to drive up the price of generic "deli-fresh" lunchmeat, it would have been fully protected. Since it doesn't, have a dedicated air-tight box ready for it, and drop some oil on the barrel after use. Otherwise... I enjoyed chopping up, repouring, chopping up, repouring concrete on a misguided project late fall, leaving me with more than enough extra frozen concrete to play with; at 90psi from 20 gallons, this thing outperforms a Milwaukee 28v SDS+ hammer, which surprised me. And this wasn't with a chisel, just an iron dowel I had around that fit the "chuck." My only other experience with real air hammers was with Milwaukee's 18v SDS, which I found to be useless; the extra 10 volts on their super model made all the difference and made the job do-able this fall, but today this thing melts concrete with no bodyweight or torquing or any effort at all. I've used it a few times with my small 15 gallon compressor. Worked pretty well, though it did cycle pretty often. It definitely made short of of replacing my car's stuck rotors. Grip is very comfortable and it didn't beat up my hand during use. Only qualm is that it doesn't bring any attachments at all - would be nice if it came with a chisel at least. Factor in another $30-50 for a set of attachments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
