I used this mounting a winch to my UTV, beat the heck out of a normal ratchet. Sockets are easily taken off and on. The direction switch works well and easy. I especially like the power push button. It has very good power for a 3/8” ratchet. The vibration is minimal and it absorbs the shock od starting well. It is long enough to reach those hard to get to bolts and nuts. Nice ratchet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

So much to say about this. i purchased this to upgrade from my original ratchet. i was looking for something that was faster & stronger. I received that & MORE. what i did not realize was that this ratchet is not a normal ratchet, but an IMPACT ratchet. Yet it is about the same size as my original. Not what i was looking for, however it being an impact is by no means a negative. it runs very smooth. Is not any louder than a regular ratchet. like all ratchets forward or revers can be selected. to change direction on this one you need to PUSH in to rotate the selector. overall very pleased. One minor thing is that one of the label/grips is a little loose. a dab of glue will fix it quickly no doubt... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really nice to have air ratchet that doesn't grab work and throw your knuckles against the always present hard surrounding stuff. The shock absorbing clutch slips when bolts are tight. The light weight (2.8 lbs), small size (13"long) and rear placed trigger for easier access to tight spots are major advantages when larger tools just won't fit. Mine worked properly out of the box requiring only the usual connecting air fitting. Torque and speed are very usable (working 0-50 ft lbs with max 75 ft lbs). Minimum 4 gallon 90 psi compressor recommended. I would recommend larger capacity compressor although it will work at that minimum with some breaks to refill tank. Stated air use is 1.9 cpm and it certainly uses all of that. It requires adding grease through fitting in housing weekly when in daily use, (I use gearbox injector), and oiling air motor before and after use, (easily done). Impact sockets strongly recommended. As a DIYer I really like this tool. On occasion it is absolutely the only tool for the job. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have used air impact wrenches before but never an air ratchet and was pleasantly surprised. The sound level was lower than expected but I would still recommend ear protection. The weight and size were appropriate and allow for getting into tighter spaces than a regular impact wrench. The shock absorbing clutch feature is a definite plus and keeps you from getting a skinned knuckle. One thing to be aware of, it does require "greasing" as well as the application of air tool oil. It uses the small surface zerk fitting. Naturally it also requires the use of "impact" sockets. All in all, a great tool that will come in handy and should last a long time. This review is for Campbell Hausfield, 3/8-inch reactionless air ratchet, Model XT0151000. This tool does not include an air hose, a required 1/4-inch NPT inlet plug, 1/4-inch air coupler and IMPACT sockets. This is a compact tool, weighing only about 2 lb., 13.5 oz. It has overall length of 11 inches. The tool diameter is 1-5/8 inches. It has a cushioned palm area pad, the rest of the grip area and activation switch being plastic. The body and gearbox appear to be of painted and plated alloy steel. I put it to use with my Campbell Hausfield 13-gallon, 4 CFM at 90 PSI compressor with 3/8-inch, 30-foot air hose to remove and reinstall a V8 engine water pump in tight quarters. it worked very well after a slow start. That slow start appears to have been due to the fact that my work area and the tool were at a temperature of about 36 degrees F and because the gearbox was overfilled with grease at the factory. I had to turn the driven socket by hand to get rotation started. After a very brief warm-up, during which time the excess grease in the gearbox was expelled, operation became normal. I found this tool to be essentially vibrationless during use and not excessively noisy, although use of ear protection is advisable. This tool uses a lot of air during operation, my compressor barely adequate to keep up, even with pauses. Surprisingly, the instructions with the tool indicate that the air compressor used should be minimum 4 gallon size with average air consumption of 1.9 CFM at 90 PSI. This product comes with a 2-year limited warranty. To get maximum lifespan, the instructions call for oiling of the air motor before and after each use with a suitable air tool oil and adding grease to the gearbox weekly during use. Grease is added through a flush-type grease fitting by using a grease injector. This tool comes with a 2-year limited warranty. This is a good product and quite adequate for me as a home handyman. It will assist me in maintaining my vehicles and my aging lawn care/gardening equipment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have had the Get Stuff Done 3/8 Air Ratchet for a short time and have only been able to use it once to adjust the back doors on a work van. Out of the eight bolts I needed to loosen it handled all except for two. Those two were probably over-tightened from years back, I loosened those using a hand wrench. The air ratchet was really speedy and very powerful. After aligning the door I had to hold it while using the air ratchet to tighten the bolts back up and the Get Stuff Done air ratchet made it a breeze. It was done in no time. When I tightened the bolts back up the clutch did a perfect job of keeping the ratchet from twisting my wrist. It has a really good grip that fits well in my hand. Overall I would say this is a great air ratchet and I would recommend it, especially for tight places where a standard hand wrench may be difficult to use.
