Rated 5 de 5 de par Custom sized to meet my door opening This door is excellent and well made. I especially liked that I could custom fit this with a few inches higher and wider for my application and at no extra cost. I also found the Clopay customer service people very helpful as I sized this in a custom build building. The door ended up being slightly larger than 11 feet tall and 15 feet wide. I did the installation by myself one piece at a time. I also went with the upgrade to make the bearings and spring heavy duty and glad I did that. In the end, the price of the door was very competitive in price and below the competition. Looking back I could not have done better and glad I chose Clopay

Rated 3 de 5 de par Purchase experience To Whom It May Concern: Garage Doors were delivered more than months later, than was in the agreement. I called and messaged with your virtual Assistant several times, but to no avail. Eventually your supervisor on the call accepted blame for the delivery delay and promised that I will be compensated for the delay in the range of $250 - $300. This never happen! Even more to that - couple weeks ago somebody called to find out if I am satisfied with my purchase experience. When I explained situation with compensation, HomeDepot rep promised to look into that and, quite expectedly, disappeared also. With all this HomeDepot purchase experience, I am quite disappointed and dissatisfied as a Customer

Rated 5 de 5 de par Love My New Beautiful Garage Doors My 40 year old wood doors were rotting away...I tried to duct tape and glue the bottom panel on...pitiful mess. I saved my pennies and got two new sparklie clean white Clopay metal doors with window panels....I just love them...my family and friends are probably getting sick of my sending them photos...but my neighbors are really glad I got rid of the "blight" on the neighborhood. Love my new garage doors!!!

Rated 3 de 5 de par My review is a YES and a NO for this product. We purchased them on a One day internet sale so we... My review is a YES and a NO for this product. We purchased them on a One day internet sale so we thought the price was great. We planned to install them ourselves until life got in the way and we needed to hire someone to do it. Home Depot team was VERY expensive and would not have included all the EXTRAS that are not provided with these doors. Everything is an add on, locking handles, trim, different spring systems. I guess most people may be using garage door openers but our garage has a shed roof so we cannot. Hiring someone other than Home Depot was less expensive but no warranty and still costly and the guy complained the doors were cheap, his least favorite to install and wished us luck with them. The overall cost will increase by at least 75% of the total of what we paid for the doors to cover installation, locks, haul away of old doors, trim work and magnetic details to make them look nicer. Not necessarily a cost effective purchase. They do look and operate nicer than our old ones but they are not life changing or property changing for that fact. An expensive venture and was quoted less for what reviews show to be a better brand of garage door. So buyer beware, be prepared for a lot of extra costs.

Rated 2 de 5 de par rubber bottom seal is wrinkled and is defective The door itself looks good, but the rubber seal at the bottom is wrinkled and really looks bad, and is not acceptable. Advantage Garage Door, the installer, said they will replace it when the weather gets warmer, as the cold weather is the problem? If this problem is resolved, I would recommend this door.

Rated 4 de 5 de par UN insulated Garage door Well ok here's my true feelings about this purchase. I could have bought local in Anchorage for 300.00 more ( insulated.) This un insulated door is for a boat shed therefore insulated wasn't needed. Upon arrival and taking 2 1/2 months to build and ship I was really just wanting to get it in the opening before snow. This has no skin on the inside, if I'd of known that I would have bought local and spent the Xtra 300.00 ...it was also missing structural screws on the inside. NOT REALLY HAPPY CAMPER FOR THE PRICE

If you don't add an opener or at least a locking handle kit which is about $25 more you are left with the very cheap plastic handles that come with the basic "value" door. They look weak and cheap.

Rated 4 de 5 de par A lot of work, but worth it I bought two 8X7 doors and two belt drive openers to close in my carport. The first step in the process was to figure out what would fit and how to frame it. By reading the Clopay instruction manuals online, making simple scketches and going outside to measure my opening, I was able to figure out that I could fit two 8X7 doors. Framing up the openings was not very difficult. My mid size SUV has just enough clearance to get through the door without stressing me out too much when backing out. I'd have been much more comfortable with a 9 foot wide door, but the carport would not accomodate it. You have to read the instructions VERY carefully, and expect to make a few trips to the Home Depot for supplies during the install. Between the two doors and openers, I think I bought about $200 worth of additional supplies. (nuts, bolts, washers, angle iron, galvanized screws because the screws supplied to secure the track to the framing are not compatible with treated lumber, garage door lubricant, all-thread, fresh hacksaw blades, rope). I didn't use everything that I bought, but I used most of it. It took me about two days to install the first door and opener, but only about 2/3 of a day to install the second one. I'm a pretty experienced DIY'er and this job was quite a challenge. I needed some help, but only to help me hold things in place, or to help me line things up. The helper does not need a high skill level. Both doors worked perfectly the first time and they look great. One is slightly off kilter, but that is probably a function of the ground that it sits on. Overall, I'd say that my three day weekend was a success. Well worth the time it took. If the doors don't hold up over a reasonable amount of time, I'll add another comment.

We were quoted 495. per door by Home Depot without any additional items that might be needed (trim, locks, etc). We hired someone local for half the cost and still had to absorb the extras.

What hardware is required with this door, that's not included in the package? e.g. rollers, etc.

The pkg is complete with all hardware including tracks, rollers, hinges, spring and tension bar. The only thing you will need is some punch angle to hang the tracks from the ceiling.
