Rated 5 de 5 de par Custom sized to meet my door opening This door is excellent and well made. I especially liked that I could custom fit this with a few inches higher and wider for my application and at no extra cost. I also found the Clopay customer service people very helpful as I sized this in a custom build building. The door ended up being slightly larger than 11 feet tall and 15 feet wide. I did the installation by myself one piece at a time. I also went with the upgrade to make the bearings and spring heavy duty and glad I did that. In the end, the price of the door was very competitive in price and below the competition. Looking back I could not have done better and glad I chose Clopay

Rated 5 de 5 de par Overall, a very good product. A couple of small issues with quality, but not worth mentioning. I can't say I'm qualified to answer how easy it was to install the door. The combination of extreme heat and an out of shape senior citizen with no help, I had to be rather humm...be creative when I installed the door. I will say though that any young to middle age man or woman could do it in a day with one extra able bodied person. The door itself works just fine. It goes up and it comes down with ease. Would I do it again? Well I have another door to do next spring. I don't think I'm up to it, but I will buy the same door again.

Rated 2 de 5 de par rubber bottom seal is wrinkled and is defective The door itself looks good, but the rubber seal at the bottom is wrinkled and really looks bad, and is not acceptable. Advantage Garage Door, the installer, said they will replace it when the weather gets warmer, as the cold weather is the problem? If this problem is resolved, I would recommend this door.

Rated 4 de 5 de par UN insulated Garage door Well ok here's my true feelings about this purchase. I could have bought local in Anchorage for 300.00 more ( insulated.) This un insulated door is for a boat shed therefore insulated wasn't needed. Upon arrival and taking 2 1/2 months to build and ship I was really just wanting to get it in the opening before snow. This has no skin on the inside, if I'd of known that I would have bought local and spent the Xtra 300.00 ...it was also missing structural screws on the inside. NOT REALLY HAPPY CAMPER FOR THE PRICE

Rated 5 de 5 de par We LOVE our new garage door! We LOVE our new Classic Clopay garage door! We chose to go with the zero insulated model due to the fact that our garage is also not insulated. Even without that, the garage door is snug to the garage flooring and very quiet. The new door makes the detached garage and our 1940's home look more like "one". Love coming home to it!

Unfortunately it took almost 3 months of waiting for the door to arrive once I bought it. It looks great, is pretty loud when opening and closing. It is even louder than my old door I had to replace.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very Sturdy We replaced our 22 year old Clopay - Classic with a new Clopay 180 mph rated door. It is quiet and very study. There is no give if you push on the door when closed. We helped our daughter buy a "fix-er-upper" home nearby. It had an ancient fiberglass door with an opener as big as a shoe box (well maybe not quite that big). We installed our 22 year old Clopay door in its place. Still looks great and works fine!! Thanks for a durable product Clopay.

It comes with all the hardware. The tracks are also mostly assembled. It's more expensive because it's not a common size. I installed 2 in my garage by myself in a day. They work fine and look good.

Depends on how much impact you want it to resist. It might stand up to a tennis ball without denting. A baseball would certainly put a dent in it, and if you were to roll your car into it, you'd bend the whole panel.

Yes an 8' high door will give clearance for a 7' truck, when door is fully opened.  If you are planning on a motorized door opener, make sure you get it for an 8' door.

Which spring type does this come with? I would like the torsion spring, they work and look much better than the extension springs. If they come with extension springs is there an option to change that? Thank you.

There are two springs that are hooked back to the hangers that hold the horizontal rail up, then the pull cable is ran through a couple of rollers and down to the bottom of the garage door.  THEY ARE NOT TORSION SPRINGS, and I was never given any options for different spring systems.

Looks like the door has 5 sections. Can you please tell me the height of each section and if they are all the same size .  I need a height min 75”  - max 79” . Will I be able to achieve by using 4 of 5 section.  2) Does it cost extra for torsion spring?

I bought two 9' wide X 8' high doors.  The top and bottom panels were bigger sections, than the three middle sections.  I can not measure them, as I returned the doors due to not being able to fulfill the complete order.  Torsion spring are suppose to come with the doors alone with all rails and hardware, but that was not my experience!
