Rated 2 de 5 de par Paper Thin Veneers - Expected Better for the Price The hardware that comes with the kit was good. That is the best that I can say for this shelf kit. The veneers on this thing are ultra thin. Also, the particle board was damaged on one corner right out of the box. Kept it because needed to cut to length anyway. I am experienced at cutting particle board veneers, and so taped over the bottom side of the cut to prevent it from chipping / blow out, and cut on my radial arm saw using a 60T fine finish blade. When I pulled the tape off it took a lot of the veneer with it. For just about $30, they should really give you a little better quality veneer.

Rated 3 de 5 de par They need to make two size shelves For $28 a 4' shelf should not chip upon taking it out of the box. They also need to make different size shelves; in particular the depth! If you use these along with their closet units, the shelf doesn't come out as far as the unit headers (the piece with the molding) so you are stuck having jagged joints or a flush front but with a gap in the back (preventing a better mount to the wall).

Rated 2 de 5 de par ARRIVED DAMAGED I ordered online to have it shipped to avoid the heavy lift and transort. The product arrived with no additional packaging other then the product outer box. Not enough to protect it. Arrived with all corners of inside pieces broken! Not happy. Now I had to load it into my car, carry it back to my local store, exchange it and lug it back home. Defeating the whole purpose of having it delivered.

Rated 4 de 5 de par SOME ISSUES YOU WILL ENCOUNTER I PURCHASED THE CHOCOLATE COLORED KIT. UPON UNPACKING THE PARTS THERE WAS DAMAGE TO MANY OF THE WOOD PIECES. SOME STILL USABLE DO TO THE DAMAGE BEING IN NON-OBVIOUS SPOT. I HAD TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT PART SENT TO ME BY THE MANUFACTURER WHICH I SHOULD SAY WAS COMPLETELY HASSLE FREE. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS I HAD TO WAIT TO COMPLETE THE ASSEMBLY. THEY OFFERED MONEY COMPENSATION OR REPLACEMENT. IF THE ORIGINAL PARTS WERE PACKED AS WELL AS THE REPLACEMENT I WOULDN'T HAVE NEEDED A REPLACEMENT. THE MATERIAL IS PRESSBOARD WHICH IS WHY DAMAGE IS SO PREVALENT, THAT BEING SAID IT IS ALSO WHY THE PRODUCT IS FAR MORE AFFORDABLE THAT OTHERS ON THE MARKET. IT IS VERY NICE LOOKING WHEN FINISHED. VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. CAUTION THOUGH CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE SCREWS ARE CORRECT SINCE THE LENGTH IS CRITICAL TO THE ASSEMBLY BEING DAMAGE FREE

The manual says these can be cut to fit, but the veneer flaked away when I cut them. I even applied painters tape to it over the area that I was cutting to try to reduce the potential for damage. The other hardware is great and mounts solidly, but the veneer is pretty bad. Be careful when handling and modifying. I thought ahead and made sure the edge I cut was going to be on the far inside of the closet and not very visible.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Nice and Easy I bought 10 units and assembled them between 5 storage units along a long wall. Assembly and attaching the product to the wall and storage units was very easy. All directions for assembly were laid out nicely. The product is very secure for hanging clothes. The finished result looks very good and is very sturdy. One box had a parts package missing and the shelf was crunched. I believe the damaged shelve and missing part was the shipper's fault. I would recommend the product and if I need additional units I would purchase more.

Should have had some small flat or L mending plates included, and it didn't, so we had to buy all of them separately?!?!

The Impressions shelf kit comes with hardware to be specifically mounted between two towers. Additional mounting hardware would be required to mount it to a wall.
