Rated 4 de 5 de par Love it..but elephant better The cool mist is so much better for my kids (3 and 1) than hot steam. It doesn't make the room hot and allows them to sleep comfortably. The design of this steamer makes it look "appropriate" in their rooms and they love it. It's easy to fill, easy to use and cleans easily. You do need to keep a towel underneath it because by morning the carpet is damp. This is more expensive than what I had purchased in the past at pharmacies, etc. but well worth it! I bought the elephant for my son and the penguin for my daughter. I like the elephant better because it sends the steam up higher in the air and less on the carpet.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Exceeded my expectations at a much lower cost I decided to purchase this humidifier after reading about a thousand reviews. It was rated much higher than those that cost over three times as much. So far I've been very happy with it. It lets out a consistent, very fine stream of cool mist. There is little to no noise at all. I can hardly ever tell it's on. It's best to have it on a relatively high surface since the mist doesn't project upward into the air. The condo that I live in is very dry, but now I wake up without congestion or a mucousy throat. It's greatly improved my sleep quality. Definitely follow the cleaning instructions. After about a week it will develop a thin pink layer throughout the machine as well as in the wet surfaces of the base. It's very quick and easy to clean, but you have to do it on a regular basis just like the manual tells you. I used paper towels and alcohol to wipe it down. It recommends vinegar but I didn't want to battle the smell. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive humidifier. The company that makes them has a lot of different styles, so if penguins aren't your thing, you can find other animals or just a normal teardrop shaped one :]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Penguin Humidifier We have had one of these for over a year and recently bought another to give as a gift. We live in a cold, dry climate and have our heater or fireplace going constantly throughout the winter. This humidifier is a lifesaver to keep humidity in the house -- and the added plus is that it's a great conversation piece! It's fun and it does the job.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great humidifier, works well, runs all night~ We had 3 humidifiers before getting this one. I regret not buying this one to begin with. I love that they come in different styles and options, to fit any room. My son loved the character options---and it looks so nice in his room, and works so well. It lasts all night long and isn't loud. My biggest thing was trying to find one that was easy to change the water on and that would last all night. It has multiple settings depending on how big your room is and how much mist you want. The strongest setting is amazing--and powerful. I am happy with this humidifier and I recommend it to all my new mom friends!

Rated 4 de 5 de par a great asset output is great and a full tank at approx. 1/2 "speed" runs for 24 hours! Like the penguin look and how the vapor goes out of his beak! (I bought an owl one and it works well too but I don't like how the vapor goes out of the top of the machine)

Rated 2 de 5 de par Not a long lasting product. I purchased mine a little over a year ago. It worked pretty good while it lasted. I use mine in the winter months due to static. It lasted a little over a year. The fan failed in mine. I would recommend stepping up to a high performance model if that is what you intend to use it for. If your use is for one room on occasion i'm sure it will work fine.

Yes, you just turn it over and twist the knob, then fill at the sink. Very easy!
