Rated 1 de 5 de par Does not work with LED bulbs. Simply won't work with LED bulbs. Even though the product clearly states it should: it doesn't. If you have LED bulbs make sure you buy a motion sensor equipped with a neutral wire.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Complete junk. Buy the other one. Switch did not function properly. Buy the other one for $4 more.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Terrible! Don't buy! I purchased this to have my LED lights (4) in the basement on an automated sensor switch for obvious reasons ( cost savings, convenience, etc.) After the installation I ended up with strobbing lights and sometimes witht the lights always lit as apparently there is a residual current flowing through the switch even after it is turned off. Stay away! It is a complete garbage.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Works with "LED AND Incand." not "LED OR Incand". Disappointing. I bought this to replace a 10 year old occupancy sensor that couldn't handle CFL or LED lights but this one isn't any better. The problem is that it is still just a two wire switch so some current has to leak across the light bulb for the sensor to have power. The result: either a flickering on LED bulb (if using a non-dimable ) or a bulb that won't turn all the way off if using a dimable bulb. The solution apparently is to have at least one incandescent bulb as part of the load, but this defeats the point of upgrading to LED lights. Since recent code requires the neutral wire at the switch anyway, why doesn't Home Depot stock an occupancy sensor that has a neutral connection?

Rated 1 de 5 de par no good for LED lights Just bought this because packaging said it works on LED lighting. Installed it and lights started strobing once I put power to it. Called the 1-800 number for Decora and asked why its doing this as its supposed to be LED compliant and she simply told me it doesn't work with "all" LED lights and I should try different kinds. How many trips do you want me to make to town? Instead I make one trip and return this switch.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Power Leaks Across Switch Bought two of these thinking the first one was poorly made having a low power leak across the switch which keeps the dimmable LED bulb on (though dimly) even in the off "position". Called Leviton tech support and confirmed these leak power and "some bulbs" may stay on. Not worth anything like this!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Does not work with CFL's Didn't indicate anything on the package but apparently this model does not work with CFL's... Found out the hard way. Why manufacturers just can't put a dead simply 120v relay inside so it will work with ANYTHING is beyond me...

Rated 1 de 5 de par Poor Product I bought one of these three years ago and it stopped working a few months ago, so I bought another, thinking that the first one was just a manufacturing glitch. The second one didn't work at all, so I returned it for a replacement. Now, the third one isn't working properly after only being installed for a couple months. I played with the dials, hoping that readjusting the timer or the motion sensitivity would resolve the problem. But, nope. Strike three and Leviton is out!

I have a pair of these switches installed in my home. In the pantry and the garage with 30 second settings. Sometimes I want to have the light stay on when working in the garage. The product information says there is an override. How do I activate it?

Posée par: ChrisMoreno
Hi , Thank you for choosing Leviton. The override will only last the time of the time delay. You can press the button on the switch to turn it on/off. however if it does not see motion for the full time delay it will turn the load off.

Is there a better motion sensor wall switch for use with 12V halogen bulbs?

I purchased this product for use with a set of 12v halogen lights with transformers. Although the sensor works it causes the transformers to give off a loud hum when triggered. I suspect this model is not compatible.
Posée par: Anonyme
You can Special Order the IPP15 from Leviton. It is compatible with all types of bulbs, including CFL, LED and Low Voltage. Just contact your local Home Depot and request a Special Order associate to help you.

Does Home Depot sell Motion detector switches without lights for outside?

Posée par: Anonyme
Leviton offers the PS110 and the PS200 as outdoor occupancy sensors. Make sure to check stock at homedepot.ca by entering your postal code in “check store inventory” section. If there isn’t any stock in a store near you, you can call your nearest store and request the product as a “special order”.

How to tune (or set) it up properly?

I have set this switch up following the instruction. Nothing really unusual; it was the third motion sensor switch I installed in my house, so I'm sure I install it properly. However it doesn't work properly. I set it up for the shortest time and the darkest environment When I turn it on into AUTO position, it turns the light ON (correct) In 20 sec it turns the light OFF (correct) In lighter conditions it blinks the LED but doesn't turn the light ON (correct) In dark conditions it turns the light ON when it sees the movement (correct) In 20 sec it turns the light OFF (correct) But the next time it turns the light ON forever Then the LED is fading in and out and the light stays ON. It looks like the sensor sees some moves somewhere. I put two small plates around the sensor to restrict a viewable area - same thing. This is not a defective sensor; I replaced the first one with a new one. Both are working similarly. So I'm pretty sure this is something with the tuning (like view angles, lightness etc)

Does Home Depot sell sensor switches that work with CFL's?

The ones that I find online work with incandescent light bulbs and rapid fire flourescent ballasts.
Posée par: WBigelow
You local Home Depot store will be able to special order a sensor through Leviton that is compatible with CFLs. The model that you will need is ODS10-002, this unit is good up to 800 watts and in the colour white. I hope this helps.
