Rated 2 de 5 de par OK for light duty You should probably pass on this but it will do for light duty. I'm a homeowner/DIY user. I liked this bench very much the first few months. It's portable, folds up easy and sturdy. I liked all the holes for clamps and punching. Sadly, it didn't hold up and I now have a big crack near the center the compromises the strength of the table top. I admit to using the table to give some love taps to 1mm thick sheet metal to bang it into shape, but y'all, I'm a buck forty and barely bench the bar. If you're just using it to hold things off the ground I think it will work well for you, but you shouldn't expect it to stand up to a lot of abuse.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent addition my work space! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This workbench initially seems pretty lightweight for a Dewalt product. However, once you use it once or twice it becomes clear what the intent was. It’s VERY easy to transport and erect (very light and literally single hand movement open the entire thing. Press one button and pull one handle and the entire thing snaps into form. Even though it’s lightweight, it lists a 1,000 lb capacity, which is unreal. Anyway, very impressed and will be purchasing a second one ASAP. I do wish the legs were adjustable height (they are not), but clearly not a deal breaker as the height is perfect.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Great idea but legs release needs redesigned I bought this 3 months ago and thoroughly loved it. Made for great craft and woodworking table. But after awhile the legs starting sticking and would hardly open up. Now it’s a chore to get the darn thing to open without someone pulling on the legs while I’m pushing the button. And yes the button is fully pressed. So this is definitely not a 3 second job. Dewalt needs to correct this in a hurry. Too many complaints for such a good idea. Just design flaw. I would feel better if I didn’t have to fight it to get it to release the legs.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good bench for the price Needed a bench/table that was portable and didn't cost and arm and a leg to put a Table Top Wet Saw on. Over the last few weeks I've beat on and drowned this table a dozen times and it still works flawlessly. I even did a little Demo/Review video of this table. I've see a lot of reviews on this table/bench and most of the "complaints" in my opinion are from expecting way too much from a light weight portable table. If you try to put a big portable table saw on this and start ripping 4x8 sheets of plywood, you'll likely be disappointed. Likely the same with trying to use a hand plane, but then again I'm betting these people didn't think to try putting a couple sand bags on the leg cross bar.

The one drawback is while the legs are down the handle has to be out also. the problem was finding any accessories to go with it. There are holes for things but did not find anything in the store that would work with it. I guess clamps would work but not sure what the holes are for then. Overall, I gave it 4 stars based on that and I would recommend it if you need a small portable work table. actually went back and bought a second one the other day and some clamps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best designed portable work surfaces I have found. It comes fully assembled and is a no-brainer to set up and to fold up. It is made heavy enough to actually support a chop saw or similar sized tool, but folds compact enough when not in use to be out of the way. It transports to a job site without taking up a lot of room in the truck, and I'm not paying the guys to set up sawhorses and plywood - now the sawhorses can be used other places and this stand gives them a portable surface to work from. It is a very useable design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good size, not too bulky, and it's also lightweight, so you can drag it out and lift into the back of a car, stand on end and it stays erect. You use the push button, which releases the legs to allow them to fold out. Push down on the handle the legs fold back in. no pinching finger and push the handle down and folds back in. The legs feels a little thin and I won't know for a long time if that is good or not. The table top surface area is very big. My only reluctance is if I can use a c-clamp on it.

I hate to be the only buzz kill but this good product missed greatness by a simple oversight. The table is light, mobile and as easy to set up and take down as claimed. It is a little wobbly, wobbly to the point where it would not work well for planning or aggressive sanding, but it is suitable for most carpentry and jobsite tasks. It's a workable portable shooting bench too. My disappointment stems from the height. It's about an inch shorter than most sawhorses, including those sold by Dewalt. That means it can't easily be used with sawhorses. That diminishes is utility by close to 50%. Too bad, because otherwise I agree with all of the positive reviews.

Can this be use for a Miter Saw?

Can this be use for a Miter Saw?
Posée par: Rick
Generally-yes. It's heavy duty enough to handle the weight and also steady. If you want to mount it, it may require drilling into the table top. Hope this helps.

Can it be hung on a wall when not in use?

Posée par: Greg
Yes, it is not super light so just use the right kind of hook to loop under the handle. I'd probably use 2 hooks or 2 large nails at the same height if i were you.

How is the surface size...too small or adequate? Can it be used to cut 2x4's, plywood sheets, etc? Or is the surface too small for that type of use?
Posée par: Mel
While cutting dimensional lumber is practical, I would suggest that the surface is too small to safely and comfortably cut full sheets of plywood.. Keep in mind that when cutting 4x8 sheets, the user needs to support both the lumber on the table and the cut off. As such, either a larger table, or a table used in combination with horses would be needed.
