Rated 1 de 5 de par DW745 or simular I have wanted this saw (Internet #100497987Model #DW745 Store SKU #136489Store SO SKU #1000112801) for almost a year now, but have not been able to find it. Now today HomeDepot sends this email as a suggestion as a purchase. The 10" saw is what I need, not a 8 1/4" and I do not need a saw stand or cart it is for my bench install. Is this DW745 saw or similar 10" no longer available from Dewalt? If that is the case, why not take it off your web site and stop recommending it's purchase?

Rated 2 de 5 de par ok saw i got this for job site use, works ok for most things, cutting plywood is hard with only a 20 inch fence, also small things don't cut well ( cabinet trims, etc ) kerf is too wide allowing small pieces to fall inbetween blade and table

Rated 4 de 5 de par Advertising??? Keep getting emails about item (Dewalt table saw) and to shop for it, but item is not available online or nearby any stores. May opt out of emails from HomeDepot. Frustrating as I have been trying to buy this item for some time in Sacramento, CA. Signed: Loiyal customer

Rated 2 de 5 de par Badly designed fence lock I use this saw at home for DIY applications. The saw itself works fine. I take good care of my tools and do not abuse them. The fence locking mechanism has now failed me for the second time. I had to replace a part the first time. Going to try and do that again this time. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to take this to the dump and go with another brand. I am very disappointed in dewalt.

Can you bolt the saw onto a DIY table saw station?

Can you bolt the saw onto a DIY table saw station?
Posée par: Michael
Hello Michael, Yes, the saw is set up for bench mounting. The table saw must be mounted firmly. Four mounting holes are provided in the metal frame for mounting. We strongly recommend that these holes be used to anchor the table saw to your workbench or other rigid, stationary work support. CAUTION: Ensure that the surface is stable enough that large pieces of material will not cause it to tip over during use. 1. Center the saw on the desired, stable work surface. 2. Drive four 3-1/2" (88.9 mm) long screws through the holes in the metal frame. Make sure the screws extend through the frame and securely attach to the supporting work surface. If marring the supporting work surface is a concern, the DW745 can be mounted to scrap wood which can then be clamped onto the desired work surface. 1. Cut a piece of 3/4" (19 mm) plywood to fit beneath the footprint of the saw. 2. Screw the saw to the plywood and clamp the overhang of the plywood to the work surface. If the screws protrude through the plywood base, set it on two scrap pieces of material of equal thickness and attach them to the edges of the plywood to hold the saw further off of the work surface and prevent the screws from marring the surface. Thanks for shopping with the Home Depot

Posée par: Jake
I just went out to the shop and did a measure what the rip capacity was on my saw. Right now with no adjustments to it ,it is23 inches and 5/8 inches. But locutking at by loosing four screws , I think I could make it 24 inches. But I have never had tomake that big of a cut.
