Rated 5 de 5 de par Works Well My bedroom is over the garage and it was always cold. I redid the ceiling years ago with rockwool, a vapor barrier and drywall but that was only a minor improvement. This time around I insulated the wooden garage door. and sealed all cracks. I installed a 30 amp 240 breaker and ran a 10/2 armored cable. I set the thermostat to 10 degrees C and finally the bedroom is warm!!! I'm turning it off at night to save more power.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good for the Money, Add a Thermostat Good:Puts out a ton of heat, great price, easy to install. Bad: loud, built in thermostat allows a large temperature swing. Generally I'm very pleased with this heater for a garage install. I would however recommend a wall mounted thermostat. Make sure it can handle 5,000 watts. When working in the garage the temperature gets too warm and then drops to the point of being chilly before the heater kicks in again.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Absolute gatbage Stoped working after 90 days. 103 days to be exact. Didn’t run it all the time. Dyna glo and Home Depot will not refund or exchange. Stay away from this product stay away from Home Depot. So disappointed actually disgusted with the manager who said and I quote “ I don’t care and there is nothing we can do for you “ wonderful. Buyer beware I guess.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Super easy to install and use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I run a YouTube channel and I needed a heater that could heat my garage, but also not be super loud. I also live in the country, so I need something that didn’t require any sort of fuel. This heater blew my expectations out of the water. I was scared of wiring it up, but it only took 2 wires and it was ready to go! I’ve had it for about a week and haven’t had any issues! It also makes for a great paint dryer!

It has zero insulation in there and started to heat it up. It is a spring season install but had no problem heating (40°nights ). I hung it from a piece of 3/8" rod, its about 6" long. The fan is strong , so if you have a high ceiling I would use a wall bracket to keep it from swaying. It's nice you can use a remote thermostat. My customer loves it and so do I ( and I'm picky.) I'm ordering another one for another building they have. They have recommended mounting location's for your space. Read the directions and use the info.

Outdoor 13 degree morning (garage approx. temp 34) it will take 20 minutes to bring it up to 60 d. Thirty minutes and you are at 70 degrees. You will need to buy eight rubber bushings to place between heater housing and bracket. Reduces vibration noise.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good value - simple to install and use. Nice little heater, will heat my 350 sq ft insulated garage with ease. Increased the temperature inside from around -5 C to +20 C in around an hour and a half. Seen some complaints about the internal thermostat being bad, I have a thermometer in the garage with max/min temp recording and this heater will hold the garage within 2 degrees C.. what more can you expect for the money... Fan is powerful enough that the garage feels an even temperature all over. Don't think you can really go wrong for the price.

Cannot get heater to work with external thermostat. CT410B stat,35amp brkr,10/2 wiring, switch on back off. Power light on but unit will not turn on. Wired to external 1 & 2 terminals. DynaGlo gives no assistance.

That is what I did Justin, thanks, but it really ticks me off. Did you see GHP’s answer, hire an electrician. Cost you more then the heater itself.

Can you hear/feel the heat being blow out? We installed without an external thermostat and everything turns on and the fan spins but you can't feel or hear it. If that makes sense? One reviewer said it was loud and we can't hear ours at all.

this heater must run 240 if it runs 120 the light will come on and the fan will be weak

Breaker amperage?

Will a 25 amp breaker work with this or should I use a 30 amp?
Posée par: MICHAEL
This model is 20.9 amps so a 25 amp circuit is fine.

Is it safe to leave it running during the winter months ?

Posée par: Heater
Hello, thank you for reaching out. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used left operating and unattended. That said you can run this heater unattended as long as you like as long as the safety clearances from combustible materials are met. Should you need any additional information, please feel free to give us a call at 877-447-4768 or email at customerservice@ghpgroupinc.com. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you! - GHP Group

How fast does the fan turn?

Posée par: Vern65
Not sure of the RPM. The unit I bought is mounted near the ceiling of my son's 25" X 35' garage. In mid-winter we could feel the warm air-flow from diagonally accross the space (40'). So it moves a lot of air. In mid winter it makes working in a cold garage bearable within 1/2 hour of turning it on. The garage is not insulated so will never reach room temperature.
