Rated 4 de 5 de par Great product but very high price, at Home Depot This is an excellent product, however, I found the price charged by Home Depot to be excessive. I purchased one from Home Depot for $269 plus taxes. Two weeks later, I wanted to buy another one and found the very same model sold at Costco for $149 plus taxes, AND, there were two sets of replacement bulbs included with the Costco purchase! Those bulbs, alone, sell for over $50. How can Home Depot sell the exact same product for 2.5 times the price of its competitor? I called the Home Depot store about their price match policy and they told me they don't price match Costco.

Rated 5 de 5 de par WOW! It's still early, we've only had for four days, but it's like a mosquito vacuum! We're in eastern Ontario and mosquitos are insane this year. Quickly setup on porch one night. Mosquitos were attacking! Went inside and looked out window and mosquitos were already in base. Long story short, every night the mosquitos flock to the porch and this catches them by morning so that we can have coffee on porch in morning bug free. Then new batch comes at night and the cycle repeats. What remains to be seen is if it clears them in 3 to 4 weeks as the sales pitch says. But I can say that I can't see how it would catch more!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Does not attract mosquitoes As you know this year has been very wet in the Calgary region (and elsewhere) and we felt we needed something with some punch. Also there were not many choices on the shelf since everyone else was in the same situation. So now we have had this for a month now in our acreage with very poor performance. I tried two locations and the light and fan seem to be working properly. It seems like it can only catch moquitoes that are unlucky enough to fly close to the air intake. I tried to use an Octenol lure from another brand but that only seemed to increase the catch rate slightly. Unfortunately there is no way to know if the lure was emitting the correct amout of scent and it seemed like the fan only served to diffuse the scent faster, not allowing the mosquitoes to hone in on the scent. The pictures show about a 5 days catch. It seeme like a bit but in order to actually keep the area clear, it would need to be catching at least that amount every day!! While I took these pictures, I was bit a half douzen times. And when we watch, we see plenty of mostuitoes buzzing around but very few get sucked in. I cannot recommend this trap as it just doesn't attact mosquitoes as advertised..

Rated 5 de 5 de par It works! We bought ours last year thinking it would hopefully make a small difference in the amount of mosquitoes in the yard. I was amazed at how many we caught in the trap and we had hardly any in the yard. Highly recommend this product if you hate mosquitoes. Also! We thankfully didn’t catch any Bees in it which I was concerned with.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great product It takes a good 4-6 weeks to see a difference in the mosquitos, but it catches june bugs , moths , black flies , spiders , wasps and other gross creepy crawlies.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Effectively culls mosquito population Noticeable decline in mosquitos since we've been using this. We keep it plugged in all the time, in the woods just beyond our cottage. Has made eating outdoors much more enjoyable, and we can keep the doors of our cottage open without being devoured by mosquitos. Would absolutely recommend this product.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Catches Bug I have has this just over a month, it does do what it says but I find it catches moths more than Mosquitos. I have noticed a slight decrease in the amount of Mosquitos but wish it was more effective. It is better than having to fill up propane every month thought for a propane Mosquito killer and is better for the environment. I plan to use a electronic bug zapper to compliment this device. I would also suggest to the company to put a handel on the bottom of the cage to facilitate taking it apart to clean, it is very awkward to unscrew the bottom.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Wouldn't buy again, not very effective on mosquito It catches a lot of moths and other flying insects, and some mosquitos, but I can't say that it has made a noticeable difference to the mosquito population. I still have to wear repellant when working outside in the garden :-(
