Rated 5 de 5 de par Great to use anywhere around the house I have a step stool--one of the molded plastic kind--and just don't have a convenient place to keep it. It needs to be handy in the house, and not out in the detached garage, because I'll stand on a chair before I make the trek out to the garage to get it. And, I don't like standing on chairs. That where this little gem comes in. I keep it in the kitchen in the narrow spot next to the stove. It's so skinny that it shares that spot with my dough board with room to spare. The great thing is that I actually use it because it's SO handy...dusting the top of the fridge, replacing ceiling fixture light bulbs, hanging curtain rods... It's PERFECT!

Compared to the several 2-step hard plastic stools we have around our house I definitely feel more comfortable standing on this one due to its 300 lb. load capacity compared to the 200 lb load limit on the other ones. I am 6' 5'' and weight considerably more than 200 lbs. Plus, the lower height allows me to sit and work on objects closer to the ground than the two-step stools without having to bend over so much. It folds up easily and stores in our kitchen pantry allowing my wife to quickly grab it to reach for objects on the top shelves of our kitchen cabinets. A great buy!

This product actually folds up for easy, slim storage. It folds to 1 inch, which is pretty thin (see pictures),I Love that! Provided on the stool’s surface is a whole in case you’d want to store your stool by hanging it on a nail, etc. Very handy. In the world of the white plastic step stools, I’ve found this item to exceed my expectations. It looks exactly like pictured. It is really quite sturdy and you can’t beat the price. It holds up to 300 lbs and is so easy to unfold. I’ve provided pictures showing the process. It also has a large solid standing surface that snaps into place when unfolding the stool.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good for short boost applications, like your kitchen This is not a large stool. You only get a little boost. But perhaps that is perfect for you to reach your top shelf of the cabinet. That's what this stool is for. Don't expect to reach for the moon with this little stool. The folding is very compact. Surprisingly so. It works pretty well. It snaps to lock really easily and you know it is locked. You won't accidentally have it only half-locked. Keep in mind though that this is not a heavy duty tool. It is rated for 300lbs, however, I would use caution for anyone weighing over 200lbs. I'm 200 and it is a bit shaky, but nothing to cause concern. And for the price, you can't go wrong getting one of these for your kitchen.

Rated 5 de 5 de par A sturdy step stool I received my step stool and I am impressed with its' design and durability. The step stool folds flat in one piece so it can be stored in a small space. When you are ready to use the step stool, you assemble it by pushing the sides out and snapping them in to place. It's then ready to be used. When you look at the step stool, it does not appear it would be very sturdy but when I used it for the first time, I found that it was very sturdy. I am over 200 pounds and the stool held my weight without any difficulty. I have stood on some step stools that feel as if they can't take much weight. The stool is light weight so it is easy to move around. When it is in place, it does not slide around even on a tile floor which makes it seem even more sturdy.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Little Folding Utility Stool, and the women stole it from me to keep in the shower. I ordered this stool because I thought it would be handy in the shop. Instead, it ended up in the shower. It folds up flat and tucks up against the wall of the shower, out of the way when not needed, but easily unfolds and sets up for Mrs. Rabbit and daughter rabbit when they do whatever women do in the shower that requires them to sit down or rest a foot on something. I held off my review for a month to make sure that it is really durable and appropriate for this purpose, and it gets rave reviews. A very well designed product and it's made in the US of A.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great stools, annoying label We just bought our 3rd and 4th of these. Lightweight enough for our toddler to move easily but sturdy enough for my 215lbs when changing a light bulb or a furnace filter. For the price of a single princess step stool, I got 4 of these! As mentioned elsewhere, the label is a pain to remove, but everything else about these are great. I was a little worried with some of the negative reviews saying they don't lock properly or aren't stable, so I tried each of them in the store before buying and haven't had a problem with any of them. (nor did I encounter any "bad" ones)

Rated 1 de 5 de par typical Home Depot cheap garbage The stool is supposed to be able lock in the open position. On the one I bought the locking tabs don't engage and the stool will not stay in the unfolded / open position. Also, the stool has a typical large product-label sticker on the main stepping surface, that you're supposed to remove after purchase. (There small print at the bottom states "remove before using".) This is all well and good except that the sticker is impossible to remove; it just tears into small shreds when trying to peel it off. Another typically cheaply made Home Depot garbage product.

Yes all the literature states that it will hold up to 300 lb. It is a very well constructed stool when assembled correctly.

The dimensions of the step stool when folded up (in the storage position) are: 17" tall x 13.25" wide x 1" deep. The dimensions of the step stool when in-use are: 8.625" tall x 13.25" wide x 10" deep.
