Rated 1 de 5 de par Regret buying it. I had Home Depot install this door in May and here it is July and the door doesn't open. I surmise the door handle has broken or malfunctioned and because the handle is actually built into the door, I am unable to open the door even though I have disassembled the door handle. This is very poorly designed. I called Home Depot and they tell me that the door handle is part of the warranty.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Overall, very pleased I am pleased with this door. I have an outside entrance in my bedroom, and a lot of air was coming through making the room very cold. After installing this storm door, I have noticed significant improvement. seals nice, looks nice...I am going to get another one for the side door!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Worst Door Ever This door comes with a poor instruction manual, unless you have installed many doors i would not recommend this for first time installers. The door scratches very easily.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very good quality Very good quality door & hardware. Lot of assembly & fitting required during installation but worth the effort as an end result.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Very Poor quality. The door after about 5 years .It started to erode from the inside out.Not from any dents or erosive liquid applied. And the erosion is coming out in different areas now.My parents and inlaws have a storm door on there homes for over 30 years and this never happened . I have e-mailed the company but I am sure without a receipt they will do nothing.

Rated 4 de 5 de par A well made door, needs care in installing I installed a 32 inch and 36 inch EMCO 400 series for my porch. The door seems well made with apparently good quality materials. The "composite filler" appears to be dense particle board so care must be taken to ensure it doesn't get wet via overdrilling the holes and puncturing the aluminum cladding. The instructions warn you about this, but it's also possible moisture can wick in, so this may not be the best choice for long-term use in a highly exposed location without eaves or a roof or cover of some sort. The deadbolt lock is a nice upgrade from older storm doors. The hidden retractable screen is also a nice feature if your door is exposed to full sun since you can vent it a small amount. My current "full view" storm door on the front creates a mini green-house due to sun exposure. I would not follow the instructions to put all the screws into the latch side of the frame until you've checked alignment with the weatherstripping and the door. I had to shift the latch-side of the frame 1/8 inch to get a tight weather seal and shim it to align with the door since the hinge-side and the latch-side in my house were not exactly plumb. Leaving some/most of the screws out until you've verified and corrected the alignment sets you up for a more weather-, bug-proof install without re-drilling holes to secure the latch side. I'd also review the instructions online before buying and get the "various" drill bits beforehand since you need quite a few sizes, particularly to bore out the holes for the handle. The online instructions are incomplete (step 7 is a whole different set of instructions not shown online) and you need a 1/2" and a 3/4" bit in these steps.
