Rated 4 de 5 de par Good sturdy cabinet I bought this to replace the identical cabinet I got from Home Depot many years ago that was recently damaged by water. The adjustable legs on this make it a better cabinet. It is well constructed and should last a long time. NOTE however, that this is NOT a 36 inch cabinet. It is 36¼ inches. That extra ¼ inch made for considerable work in my case to get it to fit, so buyers should measure carefully for fit.

Rated 1 de 5 de par I purchased my entire kitchen cabinets from this company. It was for cottage. I had previously done same for house but with a competitor so I am not new to the "build your own" type of product. Out of 4 base cabinets and the one corner unit not a single box had all the parts needed, most had misaligned holes, scratches and unidentified parts apart from the fact that the glue on the dowels won't be much use as the overall design is horrible. As for the drawer units, 5 of them had recessed hook system too deep to have the face plate attached and I to return them, very poorly built. Someone was asleep at the inspection phase of this product for sure. If I had not brought all these boxes to the cottage and had been in a hurry to have them in place, I would have returned the entire lot of cabinets.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Eurostyle CABINETS BACKGROUND - I have installed 3 other kitchens using various 'flat pack' cabinetry prior to this, so my expectations were not unrealistic going into this. --- Just finished a total kitchen renovation using the Eurostyle cabinets and doors - this review is only on the cabinets themselves. Basically, the carcases are junk - 3/4 chipboard with some serious quality control issues. The 'connectors' are a flimsy zinc alloy knock down type - cam fittings - makes assembly real fast... or WOULD if they were properly aligned. The basic problem is the factory doesn't clear the sawdust out of their drilling machines, leading to the holes not quite lining up on the majority (75%) of the 50 or so cabinets I put together. With the holes so badly mis-aligned, premature use of force can break off the plastic shroud (the bit that expands to grip as the cam is tightened), so you have to proceed very carefully as they don't provide any spares. The other part of the connection are some pre-glued dowels that need to be moistened prior to assembly. Having had to take numerous cabinets apart afterwards, I seriously doubt the effectiveness of their so called glue. Also, some cabinets have rear spacers that are slightly longer than the tops and bottoms - this leads to gaps that no amount of fiddling can reduce. The only alternative is to trim the longer pieces flush to the top/bottom parts, REMOVE all their connection stuff and either screw it together - or use proper dowels/glue if the side cannot be hidden. The advantage to this is that you can then ensure that the cabinet finishes up as square and gapless - but it hardly qualifies as easy assembly. The corner base unit is an absolute marvel of ineptitude and poor design. Having gone through the process of assembly and adaptation I can honestly say it would have been faster (and WAY better) to have built the unit from scratch myself. It's basically a normal base unit, with another 'half' of a base unit that gets connected via those same knock down connectors. I had elected to get the angled cabinet (with the door at 45 degrees) which turned out to be the same as the above, but with an additional triangle piece. So the top and bottom are each made up of three pieces held together by the cheap connectors. In fact, this configuration ships with 8 legs, and you'll need all of them to eliminate any sagging. Also, a fair chunk of the cabinet rear 'wall' is only 1/8 inch hardboard, so adding any internal shelving is a no-no. And just to add insult to injury, the various parts inside the box were obviously produced using different batches of material - the colours were not even close to being the same. I tried complaining at the store, and they offered to send someone out to see for themselves. Pointing out the numerous gaps (some filled with filler by me) and carcases out of square, all the rep from Frabritech (the actual manufacturer) would say is that it 'was all within acceptable tolerances' - the subtext being that this product line was their 'budget' line and I was being too picky. For almost 5 grand in carcase costs, I hardly would describe this as 'cheap'. The Fabritech guy was actually quite proud of the cost cutting that let them ship 2 different configurations of cabinet in the same box. Although even he admitted that the self adhesive triangular stick on strips needed to disguise the fact that the door opening is too large for the supplied door were 'ugly'. Had I not invested so much time and effort in correcting all their mistakes as I went, I would have told them then and there to send the truck back and take it all back to the store. All in all, a VERY disappointing experience.

Is there a kickplate for the eurostyle corner kitchen cabinets in place of the legs or to cover the legs? Thank you.

    Posée par: Anonyme
If you use the 90 degree option, then with careful placement of the legs, you can get the kick plate to make a right angled connection. However, if you use the additional triangle piece to have the door at 45 degrees, you'll have to fabricate something yourself.
