Rated 3 de 5 de par Center Burner power insufficient [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 12/26/2021 FFIC3026TB 30" INDUCTION Cook Top installed 12/26/2021 We replaced our Electrolux 30" induction cook top that lasted 12 years with this unit. Like this unit all under glass touch controls. Easy clean up. Controls work well and very intuitive. You wont need to read a manual to figure them out. This unit is a little smaller than the original radient 30" cutout, just barley covers the hole. I will need to find a trim kit to better secure it. Now for the bad. The center large burner lacks sufficient power. Our old Electrolux would bring a gal. of tap cold water to a boil in 6 -7minutes, takes 17 min on this center burner with pwr boil on. The smaller burner on the left side will bring the same to a rolling boil in just over 11 minutes. Before installing I removed the glass top to inspect the induction burners, as usual they had shifted during shipping so they were no longer directly under their location shown on the glass top. I inspected there wiring and connections and placed the burners back in their correct positions. I did notice the 3 smaller burners have an alloy strip attached to the center of the burner, the larger ctr burner had none, nor was there one to be found loose under the glass. One of the pictures shows this. I will contact Frigidaire customer service to see if their is a fix. If not this unit will be returned as the reason for induction over radiant is its fast heating that also results in less power used.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Cooking with gas now!? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up on gas stoves but have lived electric only for some time now. This new cooktop is very close to gas in the responsiveness of the burner/pot to changes. It's a big and welcome change from the solid disk unit we had before.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Induction cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the flat surface and touch controls. Cooktop locks to prevent accidental burner activation. So much easier to clean without knobs. Owned about 2weeks. So far, very good.

Rated 5 de 5 de par 30” Frigidaire Induction cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new cooktop is excellent. It cooks very evenly and it’s up quickly without the typical direct heat that causes the surface to be very hot. Much safer with little ones around. Includes a lockout feature for added safety. An added bonus is that spills do not burn on the top or create as big of a mess to clean up when there is a boil over. Easy to install with simple instructions.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Love induction [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love cooking on induction and this is a nice unit. If you've not used induction, you are in for a real treat. A small saucepan of water will boil in under a minute. Heat is near instant (you still have to warm up cold cookware first) and when you turn it off the heat is gone instantly. With radiant electric I was always looking for a place off the stove to put my pans so they would stop boiling, no more need with this unit. I had an induction range before, and it was kind of buzzy. This buzzes too, I guess all induction do, but it is noticeably quieter than my old range. I love how there are no exposed knobs, makes cleaning much simpler. If you're replacing a radiant electric cooktop it is very easy to pop out the old unit, change the wires, and pop this one in. If you're not handy you may want to hire someone. Overall, performance is great, hopefully it will prove to be reliable!

Posée par: cheryl
Hi, Cheryl! Yes, induction heats up the pans directly instead of the cooking surface so the cooktop will never be burning hot. It will warm up some when there is a hot pan on top of it, but it should be safe to touch and you can easily lift the pan to wipe up spills without worrying about anything burning on. ~Ashton

Hi, Tin2! No worries; it looks like Home Depot has the minimum wattage range listed, while our website lists the max. Check out the Specifications Sheet where both numbers are listed: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/64/646d22fe-4f11-4024-8b9d-6a72fccb3ad5.pdf. ~Ashton
