Rated 2 de 5 de par So disappointed My wife and I saved up for a wall oven / microwave combo, looked into them and ended up with this one. Couldn't be happier at first. We had it installed in Frebruary 2015, May 2016 the microwave quit on us. It turned on but made an odd noise and wouldn't heat up. I called GE and they asked if I purchased the extended warranty which I hadn't figuring we just bought a top of the line appliance and wouldn't need to so now we have to pay for the repairs. Here we are just over a year and it needs to be fixed. I know they aren't all bad, we were just unlucky and got the one lemon in the warehouse but I still wouldn't recommend because of this.

Our first microwave/oven combination with white interior (similar to the one above) peeled on the roof, and we purchased a SECOND wall oven directly from GE. Now the floor of that microwave is peeling!!! We do not have funds to purchase a THIRD new appliance from GE when they are producing defective products. I cleaned the microwave oven floor with just plain water, and that peeled. There is another rough spot further away, and I know that will peel too. These ovens do not last, and our oven is not even a year and a half old!!!!!!! I am totally disgusted and will NEVER buy another GE appliance again!!!!!!!! We are prisoners of this oven because we cannot afford to go out and purchase another one!! It is a piece of absolute junk. My machine will not post a picture, but I will try to do it again.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Quite disappointed We built a new house and paid quite and upcharge for this high end unit. Its been pretty disappointing. The microwave when in “oven” mode heats up nicely to about 375 degrees. Then, it struggles to get any hotter than that. The lower oven takes a LONG time to preheat (more than 20 minutes). We’ve had several service calls to address this including two confirmed appointments where the technician never called or showed up. So much for those days off work. Eventually, the control boards and temperature probes were replaced in both units. Unfortunately, both ovens still work the same. If you rely on accurate temps, this is not the oven you’re looking for.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Amazing oven Replaced my 15 year old ge oven/microwave combo with the profile. My old ge was still running strong, I just wanted stainless. The oven heats quickly. It browns well. The microwave heat is very high, which I love. I actually use my power level features now. The only con I have is the chime that sounds when the food is done is very low. My older microwave was louder and would repeat after a certain amount of time if I didn't open the door. Also I am 5ft tall and it is a bit difficult to clean the microwave back panel. I have to clean from each side and it is awkward. But it is worth the sacrifive as I love the design of the forward opening door.

Rated 5 de 5 de par great appliance we bought this appliance to replace a GE oven/microwave combo that the fan had gone out on (and subsequently fried some wires/parts.) It had worked well for over 20 years so we were happy to stick with GE. This new combo is awesome. It works so well and has so many features we are still discovering cool things about it and we have had it since August. I love the fact that the microwave can also be used as a convection oven, so when necessary, I have 2 ovens!! Very nice in appearance, the microwave is huge inside but does not look bulky at all as a built in. Very nice design, LOVE IT.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Low tech settings. There is only 1 knob to set temperature, which you have to turn the knob to get the desirec temperature and push the knob in. To set time, you push the knob, then turn the knob to set time. The time starts out a zero minutes, so you have to increase the amount of time by turning the knob to get to higher minutes, or go backwards and it starts at 12 hours and you can turn the knob to get to your desired time. The only "touch options" are the type of cooking you want to do (oven, micro or convection) and to go back or cancel. Oh, there is an "add 30 sec" option, which is handy instead of pushing and turning the knob. What happened to touch screen technology for appliances?

Rated 1 de 5 de par Stopped working after 3 years We've been using this unit for almost 3 years with no problems until one day I opened the microwave door slightly while it was running, changed my mind and then immediately shut it. I heard a pop behind the control panel on the right and it's never worked since. Fortunately we had purchased an extended warranty for once. The repairman replaced two circuit boards in it but the result remained a non-working oven. Now the extended warranty plan is going to reimburse us but the cost of new appliances is a *lot* higher than 3 years ago. It's bizarre that simply opening and shutting the microwave door could cause the whole unit to be DOA.

Rated 5 de 5 de par ** Glad we baught it! We've had our PT7800 for a month now. We chose the 7800 over the PT9800 because we felt we would be buying features that we just wouldn't use. Everything on the 7800 is as expected. Yes the beeper volume is lower but I can still hear it in the family room over the TV. The microwave can be set for cooking in other that 30 second increments. Simply press Add 30 secs then turn the knob to the exact number of min/secs that you desire. The door opening downward is not inconvenient; I just step to one side to reach the back for cleaning. ONE drawback. The door latching arms are mounted in the door and stick up when the door is open. While removing a hot dish I bumped my elbow and almost had a catastrophe. The latching arms should be in the housing and the latching wells in the door.

For the 30” Oven Microwave here are the cutout dimensions Cutout Width=28.5" Min →28 5/8" Max Cutout Height=42 3/16”Min→42.5" Max Cutout Depth = 23.5" Min Overlap of Oven Over Side Edges of Cutout=11/16" Clearance to Adjacent Corners,Drawers, Walls, etc., When Door Is Open=23" Power wire length = 40→54" (Owners manual says they may differ) Junction box should be in top right corner of cutout.

Can I really use the steel rack while microwaving

I think the users manual said the rack can be used while using the upper oven as a microwave... BT want to confirm. Additionally, can I use a regular coffee cup in the upper oven and choose the warm option to warm coffee?
