Rated 5 de 5 de par Works very well very fair price. Support was superb. Works very well very fair price. Support was superb. If you dont need 500 watts then this 320w unit has all the bells and whistles you could want and the eppt maximizes your solar rays. Good stuff.

Rated 5 de 5 de par We love it, it does the work it's supposed to do! We purchased this with the Grape 160 solar panel and found installation was a breeze. My boyfriend who I convinced to purchase this loves how it shows him the battery levels among all the other features it does. We knew it was a little "overkill" as it's twice what we would need for our solar panel but figured this way if we purchase another panel down the road, we already have a controller that can handle it with ease. It's nice to know it's there helping our panel do the best job it can and protects our batteries from over charging.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Product OK ; Home Depot Advertizing Incomplete. Home Depot's advertisement says this is a 320 watt MPPT controller. It may be, but I have a 24vdc system on my camper with two 12vdc deep discharge batteries in series. No where does Home Depot tell you that this is only meant for 12vdc battery banks. I had to return it because I didn't want to produce $183 dollars of smoke.

Is this a true mppt controller. Or a fake .

Posée par: Jim
If you are referring to the Grape Solar 320 MPPT Controller, unfortunately it is not. Someone handling the advertizing either on Grape Solar's end or Home Depot's end misque'd. It is a 320 watt PWM controller. I had the same question and finally talked to a Support Technician at Grape Solar. He told me that they do not at this moment have any 320 watt MPPT controllers on the market. Their factory in China is trying to get them made, tested, warrantied, and delivered to Home Depot in the next two months. Probably by the end of August. If you need a controller for a current project this PWM version will do fine. If you are using Grape Solar's 160 watt Mono panels this controller will only recognize 12 vdc systems so be careful how you wire your components. Smoke is not good. Grampa Bud

Will this controller handle 3 GS Star 100W panels

Posée par: Me
It is a 360 Watt controller, so we figure it handles any combination of panels up to 360 watts.

Can I connect a solar panel to electric boat motor with this

Posée par: nocantdo
Hi Nocantdo, Thank you for your interest in solar. Unless your motor is designed for it, you generally need to connect your charge controller to a battery and then connect that to the motor.

IF I HAVE 6 250 WATT SOLAR PANELS WILL I NEED 3 SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLERS

Posée par: BILL
Hi Bill, If you have six 250W panels you would need six of those GS-MPPT-320W charge controllers, which really isn’t an optimal design. I can recommend a more efficient charge controller option if you tell me the battery bank voltage you are dealing with (12V, 24V or 48V). Send an email to support@grapesolar.com with details on your battery bank voltage and we will get you a recommendation. Joseph

Does Grape make a charge controller to go with its 100W solar panel?

Posée par: dabs
The GS-MPPT-320W will work with the 100W panel, so will the GS-PWM-165W or any charge controller rated for 7A or more.
