Rated 4 de 5 de par Good alternative to more expensive ramps. I bought 2 of these ramps to with the intention of joining them together to make 1 extra wide ramp for my scooter, motorcycle, or hand truck. Although they weren't made to be connected, I got creative and joined them together with a 1" x 2" and some hardware. One of the ramps I bought had some rust spots on it, but the store didn't have any more so I didn't bother exchanging it. I would wear gloves when handling this ramp because it has sharp edges and I did cut my self on it. The ramp works well and overall it was a good buy.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Works great - the handle on each makes it easy to carry one in each hand when loading and unloading the ramps for storage - easy to drive up and down a walk behind lawn mower with confidence (I have a 32" walk behind that weighs about 400lbs) into a truck - the quick straps (that strap the ramps to the hitch, or trailer) make sure the ramps don't move when loading and unloading, helps for in even surfaces or steeper grades. Or for yanking equipment down the ramp. For driving your mower up the ramp with no problems. - plenty of traction for damp or wet tires - just be smart and use the recommended weight limits and these ramps will work out great for you at an affordable price

Rated 5 de 5 de par Separate & use to move your tractor into your shed/barn. I was looking for a ramp to move my tractor into my barn and this product worked great. Separate the two ramps by removing the 8 bolts holding them to the hinge and you have two ramps with a lip on one end of each ramp. You can use the ramps up to 18" with an 800 lb. load on each ramp (1600 lb. max load balanced over both ramps). The handle on the side of each ramp makes it easy to carry in and out of the barn if you want to keep them secure inside. Using one ramp makes it easy to move the wheelbarrow in and out the barn.

Rated 2 de 5 de par A little disappointed I purchased a pair of these ramps so I could get my son's child-sized powerchair in and out of our house. I noticed that after about a month of use, the ends of the ramps (that would typically be placed on a truck tailgate for loading ATVs) are starting to bend. The powerchair weighs around 400-450lbs with my son in it, but he doesn't ride the ramps in the chair. The load capacity stated on each ramp was 800 lbs. Even if that's for a pair of ramps, I shouldn't be seeing any permanent flexing/bending of that metal, but it is starting to flatten out where the ends are "hooked" to grip and level the loading surface. We're talking at most 1/2 the load capacity. If it's 800 per ramp then we're at 1/4! I'm concerned there may be a structural failure of the ramps with his $4000+ chair on it. I can only assume this isn't normal. I bought these ramps based off of the positive reviews on this site, but based off of my impression, I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend these ramps. Spend a little extra if you must have metal ramps and buy something more stable.

With the front wheel 3 feet into the ramp, the 1st 6 inches of the ramp began to bend and distort. We were immediately hesitant in putting more of the bikes weight on the ramp or following through with the load. If the weight of the entire bike was added, what would happen with the top of the ramp attached to the truck? We were concerned of a catastrophic failure and losing the bike from the ramp. Unfortunately, this product was not useful at all as it was designed for. For me, it was a waste of money.

Rated 5 de 5 de par 11 x 80 folding steel ramps These work as you would expect. I needed to load a riding lawn mower into the pack of a pick-up, F250 4x4, and these worked fine. They were a little too short and the cutting deck hung up slightly when we unloaded. But for the price these were perfect for my needs. They are light enough to carry both at once, using the integrated handles, and are compact enough to fit into a truck bed well.

Rated 5 de 5 de par A worthy investment. I purchased two of these to get a Billy Goat brush mower into my Tacoma. I... A worthy investment. I purchased two of these to get a Billy Goat brush mower into my Tacoma. It handled the task exceptionally well, despite the bulky size and heavy weight of the brush mower. Attaching them to the truck was easy, and they are incredibly strong. Believing I would have no other use for this, they sat in my garage for several months. They fold easily and take up little room, which is nice. Interestingly, now that I have them I have found all sorts of uses for them--I've used them to load up my truck with several large items for disposal that I would formerly have relied on physical strength, some beers, and a few friends to help with. Among these are an 80 gallon hot water heater and several gas-powered pieces of yard equipment like chippers/shredders. These allowed me to perform the task of loading/unloading myself, which is extremely convenient. It also makes my wife happy, because she "no longer has to supervise me doing dumb things." They attach securely to the truck, do not move laterally, and support the weight. I am very pleased with this product and would absolutely recommend it.

They fold and store easily. Dislikes: I would advise against using them at their full 800 lb (400 lb single point) weight rating. The tabs on the end bent at full weight.

Can the ramp be folded in half for storage or do you need to separate it into two short ramps? Ho...

Posée par: MorningGlory
The ramp can be folded in half for storage. As far as separating them, I have not done this. But it appears it’s just 2 bolts that keep it together so seems easy enough.

Anyone has an opinion on how strong the hinge that connects the two pieces is? Can it take the wt of my bike, 400 lbs?

Posée par: Arvin
I used them side by side at their maximum weight rating, with a 1600 lb car, 400 per wheel. The hinges held fine but the flanges bent on the ends. I used them afterwards in tandom with my very lifgt fishing boat. They didn't budge. I believe that one would work great with a 400 lb bike. In my experience, it is always wise to walk the bike up. A second ramp helps with this a lot.
