It is made of solid materials, wood top/melamine coated wooden parts/brushed nickel finish hardware. It was fairly easy to assemble and the parts were marked well to follow the instructions when assembling it. Using a bit of care to make sure everything aligned before final tightening of the fasteners provided a very solid platform for our KitchenAid mixer. The top is 36" high and it lines up perfectly with the kitchen countertops in use. When it's not in use it stores very nicely in the back of our pantry (see photo.) I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Flimsy. Bought this to replace another microwave cart, on which the drawer broke after almost 20 years. I'll be surprised if this lasts nearly that long. One of the doors arrived cracked - maker was very nice, and sent me another, but they hang crooked. The cart wobbles. Legs are not level. (Yes - I know how to assemble this stuff!) Thin, flimsy feel. Finish inconsistent. I understand this is not fine furniture, but I almost expected it to collapse when I put the microwave oven on top.

It is made of quality materials, is well finished, assembly was simple and easy, and it is great looking. The parts align properly; the drawers run smoothly; and the top is beautiful and useful. The lower storage cupboard offers plenty of room to keep larger, seldom-used appliances.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great purchase! I recently moved into a new apartment and the kitchen has plenty of cabinets but only one drawer. I needed a storage solution for all of my cooking utensils. I scoured the Internet looking for a kitchen cart - either I didn't like the design or the ones I liked were way too expensive. I read the online reviews for this cart, which were mixed and I debated for a few days as to whether or not to buy it. I finally decided to make the purchase and I couldn't be happier. I still have memories of spending hours assembling IKEA furniture 15+ years ago and decided to hire a handyman to assemble my cart, who told me when he was done that it was one of the easiest pieces of furniture he's ever assembled (he had a helper and it took them approximately 15 minutes). Although the description includes the drawer measurements and some reviewers posted some information about the depth of the drawers, I thought it might be helpful to post some pictures. Trust me, both of my drawers are filled with my utensils, but for illustration purposes my pictures show two large spoons and a spatula. The picture of the three utensils inside of my drawer shows that the spatula is as far back inside the drawer that it can go (it's touching the back of the drawer). I LOVE my purchase and I have received many compliments.

The product arrived as promised, in perfect condition and with every screw, bolt, and knob included (plus a couple of extras for those of us who usually lose one or two in the construction process. I found the instructions easy to follow with all parts labeled as they should be. It took me several hours to put it together by myself but then I'm 76, female, and easily distracted when my favorite HGTV show comes on. Assembled it looks beautiful, is stable, drawers line up perfectly. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful work/storage space for their kitchen.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Perfect Add-On for the Kitchen! This item comes with great instructions to assemble it. Yes, assembly is required... but well worth it. I have a very small kitchen and I needed a little extra work-space. As the kitchen is narrow, I looked for a cart that could provide a nice sized top and still be able to get around. This item turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The drawers and cabinet is a great bonus too. The height is the same as my countertops so working was without strain of having to lean over. I fully recommend this item to anyone looking for a center island for their small kitchen. It has locking casters, so you can store it elsewhere when not in use just by rolling it easily to the side. I have a section of wall where it fit perfectly when I do not need it. Very handsome piece. I am thinking about another one for my sewing room!

Yes, it is all wood but sorry I can't help with the type of wood. If I had to guess maybe oak? All I know is I love my cart. It is totally worth the price!
