This wrench worked on my 1 7/16" Delta widespread faucet nuts, although it was just barely big enough! The head was small enough to fit in the very tight space, though, and larger sized wrench might not have fit. It is very strong, and did not flex at all when I tightened the nuts as much as I dared in order to avoid cracking the granite top. I don't care for the quick-release length adjustment. Although I did not have the problem, it could have easily been accidentally bumped in use. The lack of handle holes, however, probably contributes to the wrenches' strength (no weak points at the holes to bend.) A great value at $20.

Rated 4 de 5 de par good basic wrench [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a utility sink in the garage. After installing a new faucet also, I set the sink in place. The faucet was difficult to reach to install the water lines. This tool made it very easy to do. The problem I had was that the telescoping part with the spring doesn't seem to be too secure. There is a plastic piece with a spring on the handle of the wrench and it is easy to accidentally hit and the wrench collapses. I think there could be an improvement on that end. Other than that, it worked fine and I was able to tighten the nuts -- with no leaks I might add!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good Tool~ Well Made ~Must Have This is a very well made basin wrench. Really durable and really makes the job so much easier! I now consider it a Must Have tool! You can adjust the length (telescope) which is awesome. I am so glad I bought this. It took me a minute to figure out I had to flip the top piece over, depending on which way you want to turn the wrench. Well made and sturdy. Good tool to have if you are a do - it - yourselfer!

The flip articulation is stiff, so you can set it at a fixed 90 degrees and it won't move, while the spring loaded hook goes on the nut you are torquing. The only caveat is that it does not re-position automatically, so if you have a lot of unscrewing, it takes a while in an awkward position.

Rated 4 de 5 de par It's a knuckle saver [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For nut sizes up to about 1 1/4 inch this will be a blessing in most cases. For larger size nuts Husky makes a tool for them too. This tool makes life a lot easier when doing faucet or supply line work on basins that have little room on the rear. If you're trying to remove a nut that is seized or over tightened you might have to relay on more conventional methods as it could slip. The flexible/swivel head is helpful as is the extension feature. This is one tool that I must have when doing any faucet or supply line replacement when rear access is limited.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Works as expected Returned a Faucet and Sink Installer Tool and got this instead. Why did I return mine? To be used on a water supply line nut, the water supply line has to go inside the Faucet and Sink Installer Tool . My water supply line had to be bent a lot to fit (12" line on a 8" distance), so it could not be used. The basin wrench was more adaptable, though it was difficult at first to turn the head to be perpendicular tot he shaft.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Versatile Basin Wrench [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This basin wrench is built to be durable and very easy to use under sinks for faucets mounted to sinks of all sizes and depths. It's often really challenging to loosen or tighten faucet nuts under/behind sinks and inside dark cabinets. Having a one-push telescoping button on the handle allows the wrench to lengthen or shorten to any length between 10"-17" with ease and gives you better leverage in those tight spaces. The jaws clamp very tightly and pivot for tightening or loosening. The jaws handle nuts from 3/8" to 1-1/4" so these will handle most common faucet nuts. One concern is this wrench is a bit heavier than a non-telescoping basin wrench but that's to be expected due to the additional materials. I pushed aside my other basin wrenches and carry this one with me now for all my faucet maintenance needs. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 de 5 de par good basin wrench [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good basin wrench. I used it to replace a faucet this morning. The wrench is a little on the heavy side, but it has a solid feel. Sometimes I had to use my free hand to hold the jaws around the nuts on the supply line. The spring loaded jaws work almost like a ratchet when the nuts aren't too tight. The telescoping handle makes it easy to use in confined spaces and in larger spaces. I thought the wrench was sensitive and ready to return to its shortest state, and you need to avoid bumping the red release tab. If you haven't used one of these before, practice with loose nuts and bolts before you try removing a faucet. If you can't get the hang of a basin wrench, you could try a crow's foot, ratchet, and extension.

No, not at all. At least this version by HD. Maybe one purchased at a plumbing store.

Have designers tried to use the wrench in a small space where things could bump the big red plastic button causing it to retract at speed of sound.
