Rated 1 de 5 de par I don't like to change I have bought rubber bungees from Home Depot for years for my Sign company and have sent my customers to them but I have to tell you these new bungees suck.. After a few weeks in the sun on my banner stands they start to crack out and will eventially pull apart. The original bungees I bought I have some that have lasted a year or more. I would like to know where I can get those or get them backin the store. I will stop in the store and show them what they are doing in the morning mabe they have a stash of the good ones.

However, I have found over a period of time (about 6-12 months) in the elements (weather), the EPDM Rubber breaks down and begins to crack, and will easily break. If you are using these tie-down straps to safely hold something and the rubber begins to crack, this can become a very dangerous situation. Users should use caution and check these tie-down straps as they age. If cracks begin to develop, then they need to be replaced. Lastly, these straps are made in China and just aren't as good as when they were made in the USA.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Terrible Had these made in China bungees for about a year. I use them to tarp my camper. The kicker is these degraded and they do not even see the sunshine. All underneath the camper and failed/degraded in a year. Garbage. I did save the hooks because they were still shiny. Luckily I checked on these before my tarp went flying.

Mine were purchased about 4 months ago, and used to hang a few items off the floor in a covered outdoor storage area. NO direct sunlight! Mine now look just like the photos others have posted. I would not recommend them, and certainly would not buy them again. Only good thing, it was only 1$ ea., but still, a waste!

Rated 2 de 5 de par NOT UV resistant Confirming what others recently reported, these are NOT UV resistant and completely disintegrated in the NorCal sun after 4 months. Definitely not made of EPDM.

I too, have bought the Husky brand rubber tie-downs for years, and recommended them to others. These aren't EPDM rubber anymore. The old ones last years outside. The new ones last weeks.

Not sure if HD is aware of this but I believe they are selling an inferior product.
