Rated 5 de 5 de par easy to use and hassle free easy to install, also bought some Klein Tools pliers especially for these terminals, the connections work well, the client only authorized one hour to disconnect his service, do the relocation, and reconnect the service quickly, so far the client has not reported any fails, so I highly recommend them.

I have AT&T internet service, inside the telephone box that the ethernet exit port that runs to the router/modem, has these connectors inside of it, could this be a reason for dropped service or is it compatible with the DSL connection that I receive?
Posée par: DrJay
My DSL has been up and running fine with these for the last 5 years. They are a perfect solution for splicing phone wires as they are self sealing. You don't even remove the insulation from the wires. Just push them in and squeeze the colored cap with a pair of pliers.

Hi JW the connectors are rated for 19-26 AWG and usually doorbell wiring with fit in that range. While not rated for 18 AWG I have used it successfully. Hope that helps Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

how do i use this connector and do I need any tool?

I do not lnow
Posée par: Jay1
Absolutely no need for anything but a common pair of slip joint pliers and they install with very little force. Just insert the tiny insulated wires into the port and knock the red button down to the bottom. There is a maximum limit on the diameter of the wire and insulation.
