Rated 5 de 5 de par Install Friendly A++ I read the reviews from the others and have to say.... I don't know what they're talking about. Being and all round handyman, I installed this product as per the simple instructions, discovered the driver is good for 1 to 12 puck lights. The reason for this statement is because I installed only 10 on my circuit. There was no smoking coming from the light as a light will only draw what it needs. A driver does not give out power, it only regulates what is coming in and converts the power from AC current (what comes in your house) to DC current. This product works great and would recommend it to anyone. The others must have had bad luck?!?

Rated 3 de 5 de par Works fine, with delay Purchased one and it is fine driving 4 Illume PED pucks. Just know that there is a 1/2 second delay before the LEDs come on. The manufacturer shows a web site, but it is just links to related sites and not one providing support for their products.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Not 1 to 12, ONLY 12! Buyer beware! I don't usually complain about things much, but I thought this was worth mentioning. The packaging on the back of the box for this product shows a simple diagram of the driver (in white) connected to 4 wiring harnesses and LED pucks (in grey) to show you basically how this LED driver would be wired in the circuit for your lights. Next to the diagram is some small print that reads "1 to 12 pucks/driver". Which is great I thought, this driver supports up to 12 lights, or as few as one. Fast forward to after I've installed it. I plug ONE LED puck into the end of the wiring harness to verify its working properly. The LED light inside the puck starts to STROBE (for lack of a better word) as well as smoke appearing inside the sealed body of the LED! I unhooked it from the driver as fast as I could, but I imagine the damage has already been done, I don't plan on using THAT LED puck anytime soon. SO THEN, I read the instructions for the LED pucks (yes after installation because it's simple connections and I'm also male). The LED pucks can take 2W(watts) current MAX. And I hooked it to the driver which supplies 24W. So yeah, I guess it overloaded some. At first I was kicking myself for being stupid, but then I looked over the packaging again and spotted the "1 to 12 pucks/driver" diagram. I would rather not risk it, but I'll bet that this driver supports 12 LED pucks, no less and no more, well maybe 13 but they might be dimmer? I guess that means the smaller 8W version of this supports 4 pucks? Careful out there!
