Capacity is MisrepresentedI'm not the first to make this observation, but I thought it worth confirming what others have already said. This product does NOT, as claimed, support 4 LED pucks. It supports 3 pucks just fine, but add the fourth, and you get a flashing light display much better suited to a night club than a kitchen. I have done several successful installations of 3 or fewer LED pucks, but when I tried to up the ante to four in a recent installation, I got the strobe display.
If you need to supply power to 4 or more pucks, you will need to upgrade to the larger transformer for twice the price.
All that said, the product is all right otherwise. Installation is easy enough, and as long as you don't try to add a fourth puck it works just fine.
The misrepresentation of the product, however, prevents me from recommending it, especially since the dates on other reviews reveal that this problem has existed for some time and the manufacturer and HD have done nothing to rectify the matter.

Not as on the labelThe box says it is 7W, the unit bears a label of 8.4W. It is held out to support 4 Illume pucks. It does not. It supports 3 fine. Add the 4th and they flash.
Used with 3, it will work fine but understand that there will be a 1/2 second delay after you hit the wall switch before the puck LEDs comes on.

Underpowered transformerI bought 8 LED puck lights and two 8.4 watt transformers. A professional electrician installed 4 lights in a dining room cabinet and placed the transformer on top - they worked fine. He also installed 4 lights as under cabinet kitchen lighting - in this case the transformer was removed from its case and placed in a small opening in (not on) an exterior wall in the back of the sink cabinet (electrician choice of location). On most days the kitchen lights would flash on and off, and on some days work properly. Thinking it was a faulty transformer, I purchased another with a different lot number, with the same result. A second electrician examined the setup, but uncooperatively the lights would not flash - all was installed correctly. Also a better 18-gauge wire was used than the 20-gauge that is sold with the system. We surmised that an 8.4 watt transformer operating in a cold space running four 2.0 watt lights using a longer wiring run than the dining room cabinet system could not handle the load. On the next occasion the lights flashed, I removed the light furthest from transformer from the circuit. The remaining 3 lights then operated properly. When I put the 4th light back on the circuit, all lights resumed flashing. The solution chosen was to install the physically larger 24 watt Illume transformer in new box inside the sink cabinet. It works fine, although appears to have a slightly longer start-up delay. (Note: I’m not particularly handy.)

Just doesn't workI bought six led puck lights and two of these direct wire drivers and had them professionally installed. There are three led puck lights per driver and I've had nothing but problems! Half the time I switch the lights on they constantly flash like a cheap disco! My useless electrician says there is nothing he can do so im stuck with a disco in my kitchen. Terribly disappointed with this product. Do not waste your money!!

Works as it shouldAs the previous person stated, it should power 4 puck LED and it certainly does.
BUT..... Make sure you buy/purchase the individual puck lights. They come with the extension cable that extends and splits to link other puck lights to hit your 4 or less.
The 3 pack one is for those NOT looking for the hardwire type but rather the plug in.
I purchased 3 of these transformers along with 11 individual puck LEDs and it was a breeze to install and it works flawlessly.
Purchase the right stuff, or speak with the right associate and all will work as described.

No cable available to connect to lightsI bought this on the weekend along with a 3 light kit. The cable with the kit that interconnects the three lights is hard wired to the plug in adapter and the direct wire box only includes a short cable to connect a single light. I went back to my local HD store and they do not carry the cable that will allow multiple lights to connect to the direct wire power unit.
So although the unit says it can pawer up to 4 LED lights, in practice, it is not possible to connect more than one light to the power unit. (Note that I was able to make it work by cutting the wire off of the plug adapter and the connector off of the power unit and splicing them together - it works but it has voided any warranty and is not a recommended solution - nor should it be necessary)
