This sink was installed in my laundry room as a replacement to an older Kohler model that had a metal band around the edge. This model is an exact drop-in replacement for the previous generation. We had the hole already cut for the older sink when the band broke on the old sink, so we needed a direct 1-for-1 replacement. Thankfully we found this product online. I paid for expedited shipping, and it arrived on time. The new sink dropped in the old hole perfectly. Per the measurements provided on the installation guide, the outer edge of the sink overlapped on the counter about 1/2 inch all the way around. I paired this sink with a utility faucet (one with a long horizontal neck), and it turned out to be perfect for the laundry room.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Never Purchase Again I love the size and style of the sink. I would never purchase again because the sink is cast iron not vitreous china. The overflow cover is plastic and after 7 yrs rust was forming under the plastic cover. I ordered a new cover. Removed the old and found the rust would continue to form under the new overflow cover. Not the quality I expect from Koehler. See attached photo

The second had enamel flaws on one edge. And now the 3rd has a very rippled finish on the whole sink. I am on my way back to home depot to return it. If this is the quality that Kohler is putting out, I may look to other brands. On the other hand, Home Depot has been very helpful in trying to please me and has offered me discounts. But what good is a discount if the product is no worthy of installing?

Rated 4 de 5 de par White 19" x 21" Sink I gave the sink a 4 because it has two pin head size black marks in the finish which is white. other than that the sink fit perfect and was easy to install. This sink drops in and just sits on top of the counter and was worried that is may move around so I used Lexel clear sealant between the counter and sink and followed up with a small bead of white silicone around the sink. I was very happy that Kohler made a 21" x 19" sink that dropped in.

Excellent hard finish coating, possibly porcelain adding that clean beautiful appearance. Fit our existing cut-out from the old 1950s bathroom sink. Great looking upgrade having rolling bowl edges to usher in a new era, really nice.

Version I bought was 4 hole. Had to buy new faucet through build.com and their support was awesome, verifying with Moen that 4-hole was the way to go.

Will this cover 1960's metal frame sink?

I'm looking to replace a metal frame drop in sink from 1960's. Dimensions and style like Tahoe 2890-4. Is this self-rimming 2895-4 suitable to replace a metal rim (20 3/4 x 18 3/4 including metal frame) I believe the cut out must be 18 x 20 but hard to know with the metal rim. Was this designed to cover those old drop-ins? Thank you.

Yes, our house was built in 1964. This sink was a perfect fit for our bathroom sink with a metal band. Did not require any alterations. Love it!

Templates can be sent out through our Literature department (920-803-3985) but we are unable to obtain the cut-out dimensions. Some different options to consider would be the Archer, model number: K-2356-4-0, or Cimarron, model number: K-2351-4-0. Thank you for your inquiry and choosing the Bold Look of Kohler.

The Tahoe Sink, model 2895-1-0 recommends a cut out that is slightly smaller than the opening you have specified. I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Center at 1-800-4KOHLER. (1-800-456-4537) to request a free of charge copy of the cutout template to compare if it may be possible to install without changing your counter top surface. Thank you for your inquiry. The Kohler Iron Tones sinks do not have faucet hole drillings. Please see model numbers 2826-0 and 2827-0. These sinks can be installed as self rimming or undercounter, depending upon your need.

Thank you for your inquiry. Overall, this Tahoe measures 21" (from side-to-side if you were standing in front of it) by 19" (from front-to-back). The actual basin measures 16" x 12" with a water depth of 5". Additional specification information is located on the product page on both the Specifications tab and the More Info. tab, where you can open the actual specifications document.
