Rated 2 de 5 de par Kohler - Its not on display for a reason! I bought this because it matched the Kohler brushed nichol fixtures for a new bathroom - Home Depot didn't have this on display. The online Kohler picture shows a rounded stylish top track header, what was shipped is an ugly pointy top track - and the metal is thin - also there are 4 slabs of metal which are the glass hangers to hold up the glass doors which are 3/8 thick, you can't see them in the Kohler online photo because the camera is high - when installed you look up and see them and they look ugly. There's a reason you don't find this shower door in a showroom even at Home Depot, its ugly and you wouldn't buy it! Also the rollers are flimsy - real cheap quality and I paid a premium for this product! Once installed you can't take it out so I don't recommend this product unless you can see it for yourself in a showroom.

Rated 4 de 5 de par High quality, design flaws Very high quality, heavy (3/8 inch) glass doors. Rollers are smooth and quiet. However, the doors rattle a little too much which is probably unavoidable in a frameless design. The worst design flaw is the large handle on the interior of the shower door, which protrudes unnecessarily into the shower space. It is too easy to bang your arm or hand into it while showering. The handles on outside and inside are identical, but the inside handle could have been designed to be half the depth of the outside one and still would have been perfectly usable without protruding into the shower space so much. Be aware that although described as "polished silver," the finish of the door frame is more like brushed. It does not match other Kohler polished chrome finishes.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great shower door - description is incorrect This is a great glass door. The thicker glass and sturdier track is well worth the extra money. NOTE: the glass is NOT "falling lines" as described - it is clear glass. This was noted in one other review - and I verified on Kohler's website that the item number matched Home Depot's for clear glass with polished silver finish. I ordered the door hoping that it was clear glass -not falling lines - and was happy that this turned out to be the case. Installation was easy and the heavier weight of the glass makes the door feel high-end.

However, I think the model that had vertical handles at each end would be better than this version with 1 towel bar inside and 1 outside. Overall it is an attractive product.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great doors but a few challenges They are great heavy duty doors. Nice thick glass, smooth action, etc. But: 1. Kohler was in dreamland when they decided on the screws and anchors to include for the vertical tracks. They provide 1.5" screws, but there is a 1/2" gap behind the vertical tracks (they are I (eye) beam shaped and where the screw head sits does not sit flush against the wall), plus you may have your wallboard at 3/8 or 1/2" (mine is the latter), plus you may have tile adding 1/4" or more (I did.) And, 2 of the 3 screws on each side go through rubber bumpers that add more depth. If you are going into a stud, you probably want to grab more than 1/8-1/4" of it but you won't if you use what they supply. And if the wall is hollow, the plastic anchors they supply are barely adequate for 3/8" sheetrock; entirely worthless for 1/2" rock/durock plus tile. I don't want the tile supporting this thing, that's just begging the tile to break loose. I wanted to grab the wallboard from behind and squeeze tight. That's going to take a different anchor than they supply. Net: for a $450 product, they could throw in another $2 or $3 worth of hardware and save me extra trips to the store. At the very least, they could say more in the instructions about potential wall conditions so you think about this before you start. I had the base track caulked and taped to my tub, before I realized I needed more stuff and had to make a store run and get back to lock it all in place before the caulk dried. I didn't need that panic. 2. Cutting the upper track is no picnic. Who's got a miter box that handles a cut depth of 3.5-4"? I got it done and it's clean, but it takes some careful measuring, marking, clamping the oddly sized work in a miter box, hacksawing on angles to get to a depth the miter box supports, etc. I was on the fence about making a jig of some sort but I got away without doing so.

This box should of never left the factory in this shape poor handling on their part paid 800.43 for this item was not happy at all. my installer had to come to my home two times and it cost me more money to have them installed from the first price I got from him. so quess who paid ME thats correct now is that fair to me
