Rated 5 de 5 de par Extremely high quality Kohler's products are not the least expensive, but their quality is truly impressive. The valves have a silky smooth action that just feels expensive, reflecting the overall attention to detail in design and construction. Installation was a breeze. The faucet base has a rubber gasket that compresses noticeably when you hand tighten the plastic attachment nuts, automatically sealing the base against the sink. Removing the aerator requires a special tool which is included and fits snugly and securely. My only complaint is that the aerator seems overly restrictive. Even with good water pressure in, the stream coming out of the faucet has mediocre pressure at best. Otherwise, this is a top-notch faucet that looks great and works very well.

These faucets look nice, but if I had it to do over again, I would not buy them. First of all, be aware when it says they are "Water Sense" faucets, this means they are very low-flow. Even when both handles are open all the way, the water flow is not strong. It feels like there is low pressure in the plumbing, but it's the faucet, not the water pressure. My other complaint is one of the two faucets I bought has a slow leak. I had a plumber install them, and even the plumber said there was nothing he could do to fix the leak. The faucet handles are put together in such a way that it's impossible to remove them to check the gasket, etc.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Nice and Easy I like the vibrant polished brass color, as everything in my bathroom is in brass. The high, raised arc is easy for washing faces without bending too low. And, I did the installation all by myself. It took a little longer than my kitchen sick as there was less room to work with underneath and quite cramped; however, with a basic "basin wrench" it was a lot easier than a plumber's wrench.(which the instructions did not call for)

Rated 5 de 5 de par Smooth as butter Very simple to install, had the old faucet removed and this one installed in about 45 minutes. I did not install the pop-up drain, as I had previously installed a grid strainer. Anyone with basic mechanical knowledge should be able to install this with no issues.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very Nice, but... Love the design, love the solid, heavy weight and feel. High quality throughout, including all connectors. Only problem was pointed out by my wife and it really bothers her (see picture). Her complaint is that there is a fairly significant gap between the bottom of the handles and the top of the faucet base. "They should be flush!" Doesn't bother me personally...what bothers me more is that I have to listen to her complain incessantly about this. Asked my brother to take a look at it and tell me what he saw. His first comment out of his mouth was' "The handles should be flush with the base!". Looking at the design, I can see why there is a space. If perfectly flush, I suspect the bottom of the handles would scrape the top of the base after constant turning, eventually causing marks on the base. Yet, I've seen many, many other handles on different faucets that are significantly more flush with the base than this one. NET: If this gap bothers you (or your significant other) aesthetically, you should probably look elsewhere. Otherwise, if this 'gap' issue does not bother you, the product is beautifully designed, solid, operates smoothly, and is an attractive component in a new or updated bathroom.

Rated 5 de 5 de par just what I needed This was not available in the store so I ordered on line and it was shipped free to my home which was very convenient. It was installed for me and looks great. There is an issue of incomplete seal for the pop up stopper but I called Home Depot this AM and Kohler is shipping a new O ring which should take care of issue. So barring some unforseen issue I would recommend this faucet.

Rated 3 de 5 de par does not look as great as it does on the picture works well but gets water splashes all over. You just have to keep cleaning it. Meanwhile the finish, which they claims will not tarnish, after a careful reading of the warrantee that came with the product, says that the finish is not covered by the warrentee. Watch out for this catch.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Stylish Faucet I bought 2 of these faucets to up-date my master bath. I didn't want to change the gold color. I figure in time gold will be in style. A plumber installed the items without any trouble and I really like the way they look.

can this be used in lieu of a widespread faucet?

Posée par: Jay1
Not if you are replacing a widespread faucet in an existing sink or countertop. The holes won't line up.

Kohler usually makes it easier to install. This was no different than other brands that are much less expensive.

The instructions say to use plummer's putty between the faucet assembly and the sink, but there already is a (rubber?) gasket on the bottom of the faucet. Did they add the gasket later and forget to change the instructions? It seems redundant to use both the gasket and putty, but I will if you say I should.
Posée par: GatorGuy
I installed mine using silicon instead of Plummer's putty. From what I understand it is no longer used for this purpose because it hardens and is difficult to remove in the future.

What does it mean "valve not included"? Is a valve required for this to work right, i.e. is there another part I need to buy?
Posée par: DIYuser
No, the valve is referring to the shut off valve underneath the sink. If your plumbing is 15 to 20 yrs old it might be a very good idea to replace those valves. The good ones are about $8.0 / pc. The best way to tell is to look underneath the sink , do you have the old copper lines or are they the newer flex lines?
