[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been installing Kohler products for over 30 years in the building and plumbing trades and I have always found their products to be of excellent quality and better than most at each price level. Their solid brass castings finished in a variety of plated finishes from polished chrome to the now very popular brushed nickel finish are professional quality. What also set them apart from other big box bathroom faucets were the solid cast metal drain assembly that came with all Kohler bathroom faucets. Neither of those are features on this ASHAN 8” Widespread 2-handle Bathroom Faucet. Initially, I was very disappointed with the build quality of this faucet. Clearly it is not made of cast brass as I was expecting. The spout casting does not itself carry the water but rather is merely a hollow exterior casting with a plastic insert. This explains the panel set into the underside of this 2 piece spout. The handles themselves seem solid enough and use the latest ceramic disc construction for long life. Another major disappointment was the all plastic drain assembly I have seen sold only with lower end faucets. I prefer the all metal drain assemblies for ease of leakproof installation and overall appearance. In my experience with plastic drains I have found it much more difficult to get water tight seals with some sink basins since the nut can only be tightened so much before the plastic threads strip. That was my initial impression of this faucet set. However, for the homeowner, as well as for the professional plumber I guess, this drain assembly will be easier to install since it has fewer parts and the drain is operated by pressing down on the stopper to seal and press it again to release. This eliminates the whole pop up drain linkage and it’s necessary adjusting. While I think the average homeowner will get good service from this faucet and as long as they don’t mind the plastic drain assembly, the panel on the underside of the spout, to operate the drain stopper they will have to reach into a basin of potentially dirty water to drain the sink, and so long as they like the overall style then I would not discourage them from purchasing it. For me, there are better choices out there from Kohler and I would not purchase this faucet again. It comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. It is not made in the USA but is imported.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Had to replace a Moen that had seized. For once... Had to replace a Moen that had seized. For once the promise of no special tools needed was true! On top of that I didnt have to turn a crescent wrench 1/8" six hundred times. I typically hate plumbing work around the house and this was so easy. It is very light because they use a lot of ceramic valve parts, but it was very solid and smooth once installed. Rubber gaskets part of the valve assemblies so no need to silicone and try to clean up, they come designed to prevent leaks. Kohler is really on top of the little things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kohler Ashan is a very sleek, modern, high end faucet. It's heavyweight which attests to it's quality. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful. The handles turn smoothly. I haven't had the chance to install it yet because I'm still in the middle of a bathroom renovation, but it looks to be very easy to install, especially for an 8 inch widespread. It comes with a pop up drain assembly, making it that much easier to install. It does not come with the water supply lines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting to submit this review, hoping that COVID-19 restrictions would be eased enough to allow for installation. Alas, it looks like that will not happen for a bit, so my review is based on just observation. Like many Kohler products, this faucet came nicely packaged, and with clear instructions. The Vibrant Brushed Nickel handles and spout are smooth, with softly squared edges in a style that is modern without frills.

I have an issue with the right handle. Instead of it returning and stopping at the 90 degree close, it's off by a degree or two.
